I am looking for Tamson Galland, husb.#1 Miles Cahow, husb.#2 Robert Hanlon. All born in Ohio, Tamson b 12 Dec 1824. I believe she died in 1880 (after census date of 12 Jun 1880, where she is accounted for with husband and 3 children) but cannot find any record of her death. |

Zappettini |
My grandfather was Antone Zappettini,
born 1881 and died in Redding in 1916. I have little information about him
or his family as my mother was very young at his death. Any information about
him would be welcome.
We do have a ceramic liquor bottle stamped on the bottom "Zappettini
Bros Props Compliments of the Old Crow" (a
saloon) dating from before his death. I have read that the Old Crow Club
existed until the development of the downtown mall. |

I work for Lava Beds National Monument and I am trying to locate more information on David Holman who married Simonota (a Native American woman) on November 17th, 1895. I am doing research for an ancestor of Simonota's and trying to trace more of her lineage. Any information you have on that family would be appreciated.

I would like to know the names of the parents of Manuel Daniel Rickard. Born 1/20/1870 in Lewiston. Died 11/29/1955 in Redding. Wife was Anna Bell e Reagan, died in 1923 in Igo, CA.
Their sons were:
- Stanley Manuel
- William Leslie
- John Allen
- Douglas Eugene
- James Joseph
Their daughters were:
Manuel is buried in Pickney Cemetary, Igo. I think Maria (Enos) Rickard was Manuel's mother and that she was from the Azores. I also think his father was from the Azores and his first name was Joseph. Annabell's father was James Reagan from PA and mother I think, was Mary Hagler/Heglar, but some claim Dora Benson and some claim Sarah Nye from Ohio. I am Wayne Rickard, son of John Allen Rickard, papa is Manuel Rickard. |

Whiskeytown Cemetery |
Need a clear Plat map of Whiskeytown
Cemetery. Have lost our parents burial spot. The map Shasta County Health Department gives out is tiny and hard to read. Before the cemetery was abandoned and allowed to go to ruin, we remember walking up the wooden staircase and climbing the slope to the right. An old family photo shows the decorated gravesight of Joshua Redman Rhodes (1988-1989) near our site. |
