Angelo Incorvaia, 84
RANCHO BERNARDO - Angelo Anthony Incorvaia, 84, died Tuesday, Nov. 14, 2000, at Scripps Green Hospital in La Jolla.
Born July 7, 1916, in Cleveland, Ohio, he lived in Rancho Bernardo for 23 years. He was an office supervisor for U.S. Steel for 33 years and served as past president of the Woodcrafters of Rancho Bernardo.
Mr. Incorvaia is survived by his wife of 60 years, Ruth M. Incorvaia of Rancho Bernardo; son James A. Incorvaia of Pacific Palisades; brother Joseph Incorvaia of Palm Springs; and sister Connie Holmes of La Crescenta.
Visitation will be held from 4 to 8 p.m. today, Nov. 16, at Poway-Bernardo Mortuary Chapel. A rosary will be recited and a Mass celebrated at 10 a.m. Friday, Nov. 17, at St. Michael's Catholic Church in Poway, with the Rev. William Mooney officiating. Burial will follow at Dearborn Memorial Park.

Shirley Lee, 88
SAN MARCOS - Shirley Gayle Lee, 88, died Monday, Nov. 13, 2000, at his home.
Born Sept. 27, 1912, in Edison, Neb., she lived in San Marcos for 30 years. She was a steam fitter/welder and a member of the Steam Fitters Local #250 in Gardena for 34 years.
Mr. Lee was preceded in death by his wife, Dorothy Marie Lee, in 1996. He is survived by his daughter, Beverly J. Lee of San Marcos; brother William Lee of Kernville; sisters Arlene Kavoloski of Kernville and Bonnie Thomas of Hemet; four grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
No formal service will be held at the request of the deceased. A private cremation is planned, with inurnment at Inglewood Park cemetery in Inglewood.

Thomas Grimes, 72
VISTA - Thomas Edward Grimes, 72, died Saturday, Nov. 11, 2000, in Vista.
Born Aug. 7, 1928, in Fort Wayne, Ind., he lived in Vista for 38 years. He was an ordnance technician with the civil service before retiring. He served in the U.S. Marine Corps, retiring after 20 years as a gunnery sergeant in 1966. He was a member of several Masonic organizations and past master and current secretary of the Vista Masonic Lodge #687.
Mr. Grimes is survived by his wife of 51 years, Florence A. Grimes of Vista; son and daughter-in-law Michael and Mary Grimes of Oceanside; daughters and son-in-law Susan Christie of Oceanside and JoAnn and Don Pitkin of San Marcos; brother and sister-in-law John and Vickey Packer of Oklahoma City; five grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, Nov. 17, at Allen Bros. Mortuary, Vista Chapel, with the Vista Masonic Lodge #687 officiating. Burial will follow at Eternal Hills Memorial Park, with military honors.

Louise Villalpando, 88
VISTA - Louise Caldera Villalpando, 88, died Monday, Nov. 13, 2000, at her home.
Born June 21, 1912, in Needles, she lived in Vista for 70 years. She was a professional housekeeper for more than 30 years.
Mrs. Villalpando is survived by her sons, Benny Caldera of Blythe, Ralph Villalpando, Henry Villapando and Gilbert Villapando, all of Vista, and Joe Villapando Jr. of San Marcos; daughters Rosie Sandoval of Blythe, Emma Gallegos and Mary Dominguez, both of Vista, and Anita Ketcher of Oceanside; brother Harry Caldera of Blythe; 10 grandchildren; 42 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held from 5 to 9 p.m., with a rosary recited at 7 p.m., today, Nov. 16, at Allen Bros. Mortuary, Vista Chapel. A funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Friday, Nov. 17, at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church in Vista, with the Rev. James Lienert officiating. Interment will follow at Eternal Hills Memorial Park.

Dorothy Banham, 76
VISTA - Dorothy Jane Banham, 76, died Sunday, Nov. 12, 2000, at her home.
Born May 14, 1924, in Los Angeles, she lived in Vista for nine years. She was a secretary for the U.S. government for 17 years and served in the U.S. Navy during World War II.
Mrs. Banham is survived by her daughters, Bonnie McCammack of San Diego and Judy Johnson of Oceanside; and two grandchildren.
A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, Nov. 27, at Fort Rosecrans National Cemetery.

San Juana Preciado, 22
OCEANSIDE - San Juana Preciado, 22, died Monday, Nov. 13, 2000, at her home.
Born Nov. 17, 1977, in Mexico, she lived in Oceanside for nine years.
Ms. Preciado is survived by her mother and father, Maria Flores Preciado and Jose Preciado of Oceanside; brothers Jose Preciado, Mario Preciado and Gerardo Preciado, all of Oceanside; and sisters Daisy Preciado and Romellia Preciado, both of Oceanside.
Visitation will be held from 4 to 8 p.m., with a rosary recited from 7 to 8 p.m. Monday, Nov. 20, at Eternal Hills Mortuary. A funeral service is scheduled for 1 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 21, at Eternal Hills Chapel. Burial will follow at Eternal Hills Memorial Park.

Doris McGonnell, 90
VISTA - Doris A. McGonnell, 90, died Tuesday, Nov. 14, 2000, in Vista.
Born May 4, 1910, in Mobile, Ala., she lived in Vista. She worked for Vista Inn and Quality Market and attended Vista High School.
Mrs. McGonnell was preceded in death by her husband, Stephen McGonnell, in 1992; and two brothers. She is survived by her daughters, Dora Padgett, Mary Sue McDonald and Julie McGonnell, all of Vista; six grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.
A funeral service is scheduled for 2 p.m. Friday, Nov. 17, at Eternal Hills Mortuary. Interment will follow at Eternal Hills Memorial Park.

Teofanes Lopez, 87
ESCONDIDO - Teofanes C. Lopez, 87, died Wednesday, Nov. 15, 2000, in Escondido.
Born March 18, 1013, in Sinaloa, Mexico, she lived in Escondido for 36 years. She was a homemaker.
Mrs. Lopez is survived by her sons, Arcelio Lopez of Escondido, Hipolito Lopez of Tijuana, Mexico, and Abelardo Lopez of San Marcos; daughters Tina Navarra and Eva Casillas, both of San Marcos, Rosaura Warren of Modesto and Flora Mendoza of Tijuana; brothers Beto Lopez and Armando Lopez, both of Los Angeles, and Moises Lopez of San Luis, Mexico; sister Paula Grijalva of Escondido; 21 grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.
Viewing will be held from 4 to 8 p.m., with a rosary recited at 7 p.m. today, Nov. 16, at McLeod Mortuary Chapel. A Mass will be celebrated at 2 p.m. Friday, Nov. 17, at Resurrection Catholic Church. Burial will follow at 3 p.m. at Oak Hill Memorial Park.

Anna Wilson, 53
SAN DIEGO - Anna Susan Wilson, 53, died Sunday, Nov. 12, 2000, at Mission Bay Hospital.
Born June 21, 1947, in Danville, Ill., she lived in San Diego for 28 years. She was a math teacher at Mount Carmel High School, Poway Unified School District. She was a member of the First Spiritualist Church.
Ms. Wilson is survived by her mother and father, Josephine and James Wilson of Coronado; brothers Joseph and Barbara Wilson of Carlsbad, Steven and Lisa Wilson of Merced and Robert and Debi Wilson of Coronado; sister Mary Lou Wilson of Coronado; and nephews and nieces Joseph, Patrick, Jeffrey, Julie, Kevin, Brandon, Brent and Jaclyn Wilson.
A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 18, at El Camino Memorial Pacific Beach Chapel in Pacific Beach, with the Rev. Janelva Young officiating. A private cremation is planned.
The family suggests memorial donations to the Anna Wilson Memorial Fund at Mount Carmel High School, 9550 Carmel Mountain Road, San Diego, CA 92129, to establish a math student scholarship fund.

Estes Murphy, 89
ESCONDIDO - Estes William Murphy, 89, died Wednesday, Nov. 15, from a series of strokes, at Redwood Terrace.
Born Oct. 8, 1911, in Salt Lake City, he lived in Escondido for 40 years. He was a retired military and civilian dentist and served in the U.S. Navy Dental Corps, retiring as captain after 27 years of service. He supported junior golf programs, genealogical research, political campaigning and worldwide travel. He was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and served his church for many years.
Dr. Murphy is survived by his wife of 41 years, Karin Aronson Murphy; son and daughter-in-law Kris Murphy and Monica Williams-Murphy; and daughter Lisa Murphy.
A funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, Nov. 17, at the Bear Valley Chapel of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Inurnment will take place in Salt Lake City.
The family suggests memorial donations to the San Diego Junior Golf Association, 3333 Camino del Norte South, Suite 100A, San Diego, CA 92108.

John Toot, 84
ESCONDIDO - John Robert Toot, 84, died Sunday, Nov. 12, 2000, in Escondido.
Born July 31, 1916, in St. Joseph, Mo., he lived in Escondido for 22 years. He was a salesman for Allied Van Lines before retiring and a member of King Hill Methodist Church in St. Joseph. He was past master of the Brotherhood Lodge No. 269 and served in the U.S. Army from 1942 to 1944.
Mr. Toot was preceded in death by his wife, Eunice Toot, this year. He is survived by his son, Robert J. Toot of Escondido; sister Helen Landie of St. Joseph; and brother-in-law William Shepard of Temecula.
No service will be held at the request of the deceased.

Melissa Ramirez, 14
LAKE ELSINORE - Melissa Ramirez, 14, died Saturday, Nov. 11, 2000, in a car accident in St. George, Utah.
Born March 1, 1986, in Corona, she lived at Lake Elsinore. She was a ninth-grade student and enjoyed music.
Melissa is survived by her mother, Raquel Guzman of Utah; father Rogelio Ramirez of Lake Elsinore; brothers Rogelio Ramirez Jr. of Lake Elsinore and Reubon Guzman of Utah; sisters Anai Ramirez of Lake Elsinore and Janett Guzman of Utah; and grandmother Maria Madina of Mexico.
Visitation was held Wednesday, Nov. 15, at Evans-Brown Lake Elsinore Mortuary. A funeral service is scheduled for 9:30 a.m. today, Nov. 16, at the mortuary. Burial will follow at Elsinore Valley Cemetery.

Warren Weir, 84
BLOOMINGTON, Ind. - Warren T. Weir, 84, died Friday, Nov. 10, 2000, at his home.
Born Jan. 31, 1916, in Prairie Creek, Ind., he lived in Bloomington and had lived in the Temecula area for many years. He graduated from Bloomington High School in 1934 and owned and operated Weir Funeral Home. He was an ordnance sergeant in the U.S. military during World War II and a manager at Indiana University, the Pepsi-Cola Bottling Co., WTTV-TV and the Irwin Union Bank in Columbus. He established a real estate company in Bloomington and managed a resort for the Kaiser Corp. in the Temecula Valley. He was a member of Lions, Rotary and the American Legion.
Mr. Weir was preceded in death by his wife of 55 years, Sarah Weir; and his parents and brothers Frank Weir and Charles Weir. He is survived by his sons, Tom Weir and Mark Weir; daughter Beth Tilson; sister Carolyn Thompson; daughters-in-law Jan and Marilyn McCombs; and son-in-law John Tilson; and grandson Wesley.
Visitation will be held from 4 to 7 p.m. Friday, Nov. 17, at the Allen Funeral Home in Bloomington.
The family suggests memorial donations to Hospice of Bloomington Hospital, PO Box 1149, Bloomington, IN 47402.

Corinne Lunzer, 74
WILDOMAR - Corinne Cynthia Lunzer, 74, died Friday, Nov. 10, 2000, at her home.
Born July 7, 1926, in St. Paul, Minn., she lived in Wildomar for 17 years. She was the secretary for the United Church of Christ in Garden Grove for 14 years. She was a member of the United Church of the Valley of Murrieta, including its women's organization, and serving as head of the wedding committee. She enjoyed needlecraft.
Mrs. Lunzer is survived by her husband, Walter Lunzer of Wildomar; son Richard Lunzer of Mission Viejo; daughter Cynthia Larson of Tucson, Ariz.; three grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
A memorial service will be held at 10 a.m. Sunday, Nov. 19, at United Church of the Valley, which meets at E. Hale Curran Elementary School in Murrieta. A private inurnment is planned. Burial will take place at Riverside National Cemetery.

Wilbur Wood, 84
TEMECULA - Wilbur Vincent Wood, 84, died Tuesday, Nov. 14, 2000, at Inland Valley Regional Medical Center.
Born May 6, 1916, in Seguin, Texas, he lived in Temecula for 12 years. He was a stockbroker for Shearson-Lehman in Long Beach for 70 years. He was a deep sea fisherman and surfed in the 1930s.
Mr. Wood is survived by his wife, Betty Wood of Temecula; daughters Ann Cook of Fresno and Patricia Deeter of Costa Mesa; sons James Wood of Newport Beach and Robert Wood of Santa Barbara; sister Marjorie Durant of Mission Viejo; and three grandchildren.
A private service will be held. A private cremation is planned, with cremains to be scattered at sea off the coast of Orange.

Josephine Doernbrack, 87
VISTA - Josephine Marie Doernbrack, 87, died Friday, Nov. 10, 2000, at Pleasant Care of Vista.
Born Jan. 25, 1913, in Iowa, she lived in Vista for nine months. She was a homemaker for 67 years.
Mrs. Doernbrack was preceded in death by her sons, Frank Davis, in 1996, and Joseph Leslie Doernbrack, in 1978. She is survived by her husband of 52 years, Fred Doernbrack of Vista; daughter Cecilia Bolton of Carlsbad; sister Elizabeth Moschel of Yuma, Colo.; and grandchildren Thomas Joseph Bolton and Sara Caitlin Bolton, both of Carlsbad.
A graveside service will be held at 1 p.m. Friday, Nov. 17, at Eternal Hills Memorial Park. Burial will follow.

NORMAN ANDERSON, 75
ESCONDIDO - Norman E. Anderson, 75, died Friday, Nov. 24, at a local convalescent hospital.
Born June 26, 1925, in Dagey, North Dakota, Anderson lived in Escondido for 47 years. He was a supervisor for San Diego County Public Works and managed an avocado grove on Highland Valley.
He was well known in Ramona for his weed abatement program and was a member of the Ramona Lutheran Church.
He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Dolores Anderson; sons Allen Anderson, of Poway, Don Anderson, of Valley Center, Steven Anderson, of Escondido, Bill Anderson, of San Diego and Jim Anderson, of Ramona; brothers Arnold and Monroe Anderson, both of Valley City, ND; sisters Florence Powell of Fargo, ND and Doris Reistad of Valley City, ND; and seven grandchildren.
Memorial services will be held at 3:30 p.m., Wednesday, Nov. 29, at Bonham Bros. and Lee Mortuary Chapel with private family committal services at Fort Rosecrans National cemetery on Point Loma.
The family suggest memorial donations be made to the People Helping People cancer support group, C/O Ellie Whitcomb, 20997 Black Canyon Road, Ramona, 92065 or to Ramona Lutheran Church, 520 16th St., Ramona, 92065.
