MURRIETA - Robert Warren Eilers, 75, died Saturday, Oct. 28, 2000, of cancer at his home.
Born Aug. 8, 1925, in Akron, Iowa, he lived in Murrieta. He worked for a retail feed dealership and established a boat and motor dealership in Hartley, Iowa, before retiring in 1980. He enjoyed traveling.
Mr. Eilers was preceded in death by his wife, Lucille Eilers. He is survived by his wife of seven years, Mary Eilers, of Murrieta; sons and daughters-in-law Kenneth and Roxanne Eilers of Franklin, Mass., Jerry Eilers of Salina, Kan., Ronald and Carole of Lee's Summit, Mo., Randall and Kara Eilers of Gladstone, Mo., and Richard and Teresa Eilers of Sierra Vista, Ariz.; daughter and son-in-law Marcia and John Korenberg of Clear Lake, Iowa; stepsons Lawrence Dick of Acworth, Ga., David Dick of Sylmar and Douglas Dick of Long Beach; stepdaughter Mary Lou Bennett of Sylmar; sisters Joanne Klohs of LeMars, Iowa, and Elaine Freed of Colorado Springs, Colo.; 10 grandchildren; 17 step-grandchildren; one great-grandson; and other relatives and friends.
Visitation was held Tuesday, Oct. 31, at Stout Family Funeral Home A funeral service is scheduled for 11 a.m. today, Nov. 1, at the First Lutheran Church in Lake Elsinore. Interment will take place on Saturday, Nov. 4, at Pleasant View cemetery in Hartley.

Gerald Kerbs, 66
ESCONDIDO - Gerald Keith Kerbs, 66, died Saturday, Oct. 27, 2000, at Scripps Green Hospital in La Jolla.
Born May 26, 1934, in Claflin, Kan., he lived in Escondido for 30 years. He was the western regional manager for S&K Sales for 14 years and was a member of the Church of the Resurrection in Escondido.
Mr. Kerbs is survived by his wife of 43 years, Virginia "Jane" Kerbs of Escondido; sons and daughter-in-law Michael and Suzy Kerbs of Riverside and Timothy Kerbs of Escondido; daughters and son-in-law Lisa Fitzpatrick of Escondido and Laurie and Tim Dolan of High Point, N.C.; brother Warren Kerbs of Oviedo, Fla.; sisters Alice Hopkins of Overland Park, Kan., and Darlene Mathers of Great Bend, Kan.; nine grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
A prayer service was held Tuesday, Oct. 31, at Church of the Resurrection in Escondido. A funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. today, Nov. 1, at Church of the Resurrection, with the Rev. Neal Dolan officiating. Interment will follow at Oak Hill Memorial Park.

ESCONDIDO - Robert Charles Hanes, 67, died Thursday, Nov. 2, 2000, in Escondido.
Born June 16, 1933, in New York City, he lived in Escondido for three years and had lived in San Luis Obispo. He worked for the audio visual department of San Luis Obispo County schools.
Mr. Hanes is survived by his companion of 14 years, Bubbles Hanes of Escondido; sisters and brothers-in-law Barbara and Richard Morse of Valley Center and Beverly and Andy Rybar of Bellevue, Wash.; numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews; and the staff and residents of Secure Seniors.
A graveside service will be held at 1 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 21, at Fort Rosecrans National Cemetery, with the Rev. Gary Entenmann officiating. Inurnment will follow.

RANCHO BERNARDO - Leonore Norris, 85, died Thursday, Nov. 16, 2000, at Villa Rancho Bernardo in San Diego.
Born June 21, 1915, in Chicago, she lived in Rancho Bernardo for four years. She was a bookkeeper for Aaron's Office Furniture in Chicago for 30 years.
Mrs. Norris is survived by her daughter-in-law, Connie Derr of New York City; daughters and sons-in-law Barbara and Harvey Irlen of Longmeadow, Mass., and Andres and Carl Wiloff of San Diego; and nine grandchildren.
A memorial service and inurnment will be held at a later date in Chicago.

EL CAJON - Harold Arthur Fouts, 84, died Thursday, Nov. 16, 2000, at Magnolia Special Care Center in El Cajon.
Born Sept. 3, 1916, in Denver, Mo., he lived in El Cajon and previously lived in Valley Center. He was a material planner with the federal civil service for 31 years.
Mr. Fouts was preceded in death by his wife, Alta L. Fouts. He is survived by his children, Lee H. Fouts of Santee, Denise Y. Holmes of Littleton, Colo., Marshall W. Blaksley of Anchorage, Alaska, and Michael W. Blaksley of La Mesa; sister Juanita F. Tolbert of Thousand Oaks; 10 grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.

SOLANA BEACH - Bonny Jean Geddie, 75, died Saturday, Oct. 28, 2000, at her home.
Born Nov. 17, 1924, in San Diego, she grew up in Encinitas. She worked for Afton's Fashions and Third Bird.
Mrs. Geddie was preceded in death by her sons, Harry Hill and Rex Hill; sister Maxine Truax Limon; and brother James Truax. She is survived by her sons and daughters-in-law, Jeff and Angela Hill of Brisbane, Australia, and James and Tina Geddie of Lake Elsinore; daughter Devin Hill Weber of Solana Beach; brother and sister-in-law Rex and Alberta Truax of Red Bluff; twin sister and brother-in-law Betty Jo and Leo Swaim of Carlsbad; grandchildren Molly McPhee, Rachel, Rebecca and Daniel Hill and Harry and Hayden Hill; and many nieces and nephews.
A private cremation was held and cremains were scattered at sea.

CANYON LAKE - Dennis Carl Walker, 58, died Thursday, Nov. 16, 2000, at Loma Linda University Medical Center.
Born June 26, 1942, in Detroit, he lived in Canyon Lake for 15 years. He was a planner for Pacific Scientific Co. in Duarte for 33 years and served in the U.S. Army from 1959 to 1962. He enjoyed traveling, camping in the mountains, barbecuing and spending time with his family.
Mr. Walker is survived by his wife, Beverly Walker of Canyon Lake; mother and father Rose and Floyd Walker of Canyon Lake; daughters Deborah Baker of Logan, Utah, Mary Gearheart of Orangevale, Cheryl Halovich of Lake Elsinore and Patty Kapera of Sandy, Utah; son Jerry Havens; 10 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Burial will take place at 2:45 p.m. Monday, Nov. 20, at Riverside National Cemetery, Staging Area 4.

ESCONDIDO - Ben Camba Onia, 55, died Tuesday, Nov. 14, 2000, of lung cancer, at Palomar Medical Center.
Born Sept. 5, 1945, in Bolinao Pangasanan, Philippines, he lived in Murrieta. He was the lead man for Peterpan Seafood Co. for 10 years. He enjoyed farming, spending time with his grandchildren and was a member of the Peterpan Seafood Union.
Mr. Onia is survived by his wife, Edith Onia of Murrieta; sons Jonathan Onia and Ben Onia II, both of Murrieta, and Joshua Onia of Oceanside; daughter Michelle Onia of Oceanside; daughter-in-law Angelica Onia of Murrieta; sisters Fe Aquino of Vallejo and Susan Onia of San Francisco; brother Mauro Onia of Escondido; and grandchildren Keisha and Jonathan Q. Onia, both of Murrieta.

WILDOMAR - Nancy Anne Allen, 49, died Tuesday, Nov. 14, 2000, at Riverside County Regional Medical Center.
Born April 1, 1951, in Aberdeen, S.D., she lived in Wildomar for seven years.
Mrs. Allen is survived by her husband, Robert Allen of Wildomar; mother Doris Zubak; sons and daughter-in-law Brooks Zubak and Robert Jr. and Amy Allen; daughter and son-in-law Carrie and Darren Roberts; sisters and brother-in-law Stephanie Fitzpatrick, Debra and Joe Zubak and Melinda Zubak; and grandchildren Brandon, Sara, Damon and Zane.

TEMECULA - Dominic Oswald Harvey, 80, died Wednesday, Nov. 15, 2000, of cardiac arrest, at Rancho Springs Medical Center in Murrieta.
Born Jan. 17, 1920, in Manchester, England, he lived in Temecula for 15 years. He was self-employed in California and New York for 40 years. He served in the British merchant navy during World War II and was a country club manager and a member of the Club Managers Association. He owned a catering business for many years.
Mr. Harvey is survived by his children, Annette Dietz of Torrance, Patricia Harvey and Richard Harvey, both of Temecula, Walter Harvey of Rosarito, Mexico, and Lynne Lombardi of Levittown, N.Y.; ex-wife Marguerite Harvey of Temecula; seven grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Monday, Nov. 20, at St. Catherine's Catholic Church. Burial will follow at 3 p.m. at Temecula Valley Cemetery.

Born Aug. 21, 1918, in Spring Green, Wis., she lived in Oceanside since 1967. She served in the Army Air Corps during World War II and worked in civil service in Japan from 1945 to 1952.
Mrs. Ford was preceded in death by her parents, Ferdinand and Margaret Federman; and her brothers, Myron Federman, Wallace Federman and Herbert Federman. She is survived by her husband of 52 years, Walter R. Ford; sisters Grace Hammond of Wisconsin and Mary Hammond of Arizona; brothers Frank Federman and Theodore Federman, both of Wisconsin; and many nieces and nephews.

Born Sept. 3, 1924, she lived in Medford and wintered in Oceanside. She earned a landscape contractor's license and owned three nurseries, managed others and provided landscape design services to firms. She enjoyed flowers and gardening and travel.
Mrs. Hoard was preceded in death by her brother-in-law, Kermit Hoard. She is survived by her husband of 10 years, Ralph Hoard of Medford; brother Jack Derby of Sacramento; sons and daughter-in-law William and Patricia Luther of Oceanside and John Luther of Santa Barbara; daughters and son-in-law Mary Rem of Santa Barbara and Marjorie Luther and Patrick Burch of Ashland, Ore.; sister-in-law Pat Hoard of Oceanside; and grandchildren Emily Luther and Crystal and Jade Rem.

She was a teacher for 15 years and a member of the First United Methodist Church, P.E.O. and the A.A.U.W.
Mrs. Mason was preceded in death by her husband, Wendell E. Mason, in 1968. She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Richard and Betty Mason of Escondido; daughter Barbara Hoefer of Santa Rosa; grandchildren Deborah Mason of Escondido, David Mason of Atascadero, Greg Hoefer of Santa Rosa, Karen Hoefer of Prague, Czech Republic, Kristin Lockley of San Jose; and great-grandchildren Kylie Mason and Rebecca Mason, both of Atascadero, and Rachel Lockley of San Jose.
