VISTA - Harold Leon Hainsworth, 71, died Saturday, July 8, 2000, in Vista.
Born May 17, 1929, in McGill, Nev., he lived in San Diego County for 40 years. He was the owner/operator of Pacific Audio for 15 years, served in the U.S. Air Force and was a member of St. Thomas More Catholic Church.
Mr. Hainsworth is survived by his wife of 47 years, Rosalie M. Hainsworth of Vista; sons and daughters-in-law Butch and Barbara Hainsworth and John and Kelly Hainsworth, all of Vista; daughter and son-in-law Rosanne and Daren Berg of Oceanside; brothers Joe Hainsworth and Ralph Hainsworth, both of Fontana, Stanley Hainsworth of Oceanside and Si Hainsworth of Dallas, Ore.; sisters Joanna Uli of Carmel and Judy Kinard of Moultree, Ore.; and two grandchildren.
Visitation will be held from 5 to 8 p.m. today, July 11, at Allen Brothers Mortuary, Vista Chapel. A rosary will be recited at 9:45 a.m. Wednesday, July 12, followed by the celebration of a funeral Mass at 10 a.m., at St. Thomas More Catholic Church, with the Rev. Ken Kieffer officiating. Interment will take place at Eternal Hills Memorial Park.

OCEANSIDE - Dionisio Suarez, 100, died Tuesday, July 4, 2000, at his home.
Born April 21, 1900, in Mexico, he lived in Oceanside for 74 years. He was a gardener for Eternal Hills before retiring.
Mr. Suarez was preceded in death by his son, Richard Suarez, in 1998; and his wife, Maria Luisa Suarez, in 1998. He is survived by his sons and daughters-in-law, Dionisio J. and Aurora Suarez, Eddie Suarez, and Gilbert Suarez, all of Oceanside; daughters and sons-in-law Helen Calzada, Jenny Suarez, Vera and Manuel Yslava and Marian Suarez, all of Oceanside, Pearl and Tony Medina of San Diego and Irene and Clinton Inman of Escondido; sister-in-law Connie Suarez of Oceanside; 27 grandchildren; 34 great-grandchildren; and 13 great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation and viewing will be held from 4 to 8 p.m., with a rosary recited from 7 to 8 p.m., today, July 11, at Eternal Hills Chapel. A Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Wednesday, July 12, at St. Mary's Star of the Sea Catholic Church. Burial will follow at Eternal Hills Memorial Park.

CARLSBAD - Claire Irene Peek, 82, died Thursday, July 6, 2000, at her home.
Born Sept. 3, 1917, in Utah, she lived in Carlsbad for 36 years. She was a homemaker for 54 years.
Mrs. Peek is survived by her sons, David William Peek, Terence Brent Peek and Robert Michael Peek, all of Carlsbad; and seven grandchildren.

Singletary, 30
OCEANSIDE - Norman A. Singletary, 30, died Wednesday, July 5, 2000, in Lubbock, Texas.
Born Oct. 23, 1969, in Lubbock, he lived in Oceanside for 15 years. He worked for Schumacher Air Products and served in the U.S. Marine Corps from 1987 to 1993.
Mr. Singletary is survived by his companion of seven years, Sakita Robinson of Oceanside; mother Lavonne Maxwell of Denver; son Adonis Singletary of Japan; daughters Alicia Singletary of Japan and Ashley Singletary of Texas; and sister Deidra Wooley of Lubbock.

SAN MARCOS - Marie Helen Hudson, 89, died Wednesday, July 5, 2000, at her home.
Born Feb. 12, 1911, in Camden, N.J., she lived in San Marcos for nine years and in California since 1948. She was a cafeteria manager for the Garvey School District in Los Angeles for 25 years. She was a member of the California School Employees Association and a volunteer for the Garfield Hospital in Monterey Park for five years.
Mrs. Hudson is survived by her daughters and son-in-law, Helen Mae Hudson of San Marcos, Gail Irene Hudson of Oceanside and Eleanor Rae and Dick Newcomer of Chino; sisters and brother-in-law Esther Cenkner of Redlands and Kathryn and Roy Ritter of Oceanside; three grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, July 12, at Allen Brothers Mortuary, San Marcos Chapel, with the Rev. Burt Boudoin officiating.

Born Feb. 16, 1910, in California, he lived in Vista for 25 years. He was a driver for Universal Motion Pictures.
Mr. Allen is survived by his wife of 30 years, Ellen Allen of Vista; son Robert Allen of California; daughter and son-in-law Audrey and Douglas Harris of Glendale; brother Roy Allen of Virginia; grandchildren Kimberly Brunson, Christopher Allen, Diana Dieste and Debra; and five great-grandchildren.

VALLEY CENTER - Dale E. Hamilton, 73, died Sunday, July 9, 2000, at his home.
Born May 12, 1927, in Turkey, Texas, he lived in Valley Center for 24 years. He was a self-employed avocado grower and electrical contractor and owner of Hamilton Electric. He served in the U.S. Navy during World War II and was a member of I.B.E.W. Local 569.
Mr. Hamilton is survived by his wife of 51 years, Rena Mae Hamilton of Valley Center; son Randall Hamilton of Valley Center; daughters and sons-in-law Shirley Hamilton, Sherry Hamilton-Dillenbeck and Judy and Bob Simons, all of Valley Center, Carla and Keith Shepard of Nevada and Janet and John Twombly of Escondido; 10 grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

Milo Taylor, 67
VALLEY CENTER - Milo F. Taylor, 67, died Saturday, July 1, 2000, at his home.
Born Dec. 9, 1932, in Elbow Lake, Minn., he lived in Valley Center for 27 years. He was a self-employed heavy equipment operator for 25 years and served in the U.S. Navy from 1952 to 1974, serving in Vietnam and retiring as chief, E-7. He was high sheriff for Valley Center Western Days for 24 years.
Mr. Taylor is survived by his son and daughter-in-law, Robert and Alexis Taylor of Escondido; sisters Delores Yates of Moraga and Elsine Larimer of Alaska; and grandson Zebadiah.
A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, July 14, at Valley Center Cemetery, with retired Chaplain Richard Huls, U.S. Navy, officiating. Burial will follow.

William Sinclair, 77
ESCONDIDO - William Mastin Sinclair, 77, died Sunday, July 9, 2000, at Palomar Medical Center.
Born Nov. 22, 1922, in Detroit, he lived in Escondido since 1997. He served in the U.S. Army in the European Theater and was in the Battle of the Bulge. He was a manufacturing engineer in Detroit, Folsom, Watsonville, Wichita, Kan., and Carlsbad, retiring from General Dynamics in 1991.
Mr. Sinclair is survived by his son and daughter-in-law, Dennis and Betsy Sinclair of Chicago; grandson Ian Sinclair of Vancouver, British Columbia; former wife Jean Sinclair of Carlsbad; and many friends across the country.
A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, July 13, at Community Lutheran Church in Escondido. A private cremation is planned with private interment at Fort Rosecrans National cemetery in Point Loma.

FALLBROOK - Myrtle F. Patterson, 88, died Saturday, July 8, 2000, at Oak Hill Residential Care in Escondido.
Born March 26, 1912, in Salt Lake City, she lived in Fallbrook for 26 years. She was a homemaker for 40 years and a member of St. Peter's Catholic Church in Fallbrook.
Mrs. Patterson was preceded in death by her husband, Forbes Conrad Patterson, in 1983; and her son, Francis Christian Patterson, in 1995. She is survived by her daughters, Mary P. Poirier and Judith P. Garrett, both of Fallbrook; sister Nina Spencer of Provo, Utah; six grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.

Mrs. Yanez was preceded in death by her husband, Morris T. Yanez; and daughter Elodia Ortega. Born Aug. 11, 1941, in Mexico, he lived in Oceanside for 23 years and in Vista for 26 years.
Mr. Magana is survived by his wife of 40 years, Kathy Magana; mother Juanita Magana; daughter Tina Magana of Vista; sons Eric Magana and Jason Magana, both of Vista; brothers Jaime Magana, Chi-Chi Magana, Manuel Magana and Joel Magana, all of Oceanside; and grandchildren Branden, Cameren and Ashley.
A memorial Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Thursday, July 13, at the Sierra Center at Mission San Luis Rey in Oceanside. His ashes will be scattered at sea.

Mr. Unger is survived by his wife of 13 years, Carol Unger of Carlsbad; father and stepmother William and Billye Unger of Sun City West, Ariz.; son Joshua Unger of Carlsbad; and daughter Brooke Unger of Carlsbad.
