| 13-02 | Morgan | I am adopted but have discovered my birth mother is a Morgan from Cottonwood California. I have also discovered that a forefather is Richard William (Billy) Morgan. I am dismayed that while some parts of the area are named for my Morgan ancestors, there is very little information on any genealogy sites. I am looking for any information that I can add to my limited information. It seems like Billy Morgan, having settled in the area in 1861 and fathered several children at Bloody Island, would have had something written about him and the family.
