Do you know the difference between a query, mail list, message board?

This format provide a means for submitting a query.

When you subscribe to a mail list you also submit a query but in a list format for subscribers to see and reply to via email.

Message boards are a means of submitting a message in an open format - no subscription necessary. Both message boards and mail lists are usually moderated to reduce spam and nuisance submissions.

15-02 Kyle I am seeking any info on Pryor Kyle born about 1814 in Tennessee. He is buried in Paskenta Cemetery in Corning, Tehama County, California. His gravestone reads 'Pryor Kyle died Sept 24, 1872 aged 58 years'. If anyone has any info on this man it would be very much appreciated. Tim 07/07/15
15-01 Burgar/Burger Joseph Frank Burgar (Burger) lived in Red Bluff from about 1887 until his death in 1900, he was in business with Geo (Nallman & Co) corner Walnut and Lincoln streets. He was raising his 2 nieces, Nellie and Fanny. Any leads appreciated. Doreen 04/18/15
