Sawyer's Bar Public Cemetery is located just off the main road.  When you reach the Forest Service Guard Station, turn right.  The cemetery will be on your left.  There are entry gates at the top and bottom but the bottom is more accessible.  This cemetery is greatly overgrown and though we did our best to index it, we are sure there were markers we could not find, especially near the back where the ivy is feet deep and soil movement has buried some markers.  We did find one marker at the very back but it was buried under ivy and when the ivy was pulled back, the marker was almost completely buried under dirt.  Only the name could be made visible.  If you visit this cemetery, wear rugged shoes.  You'll need them.
