Irene Trump, 81
OCEANSIDE - Irene L. Trump, 81, died Monday, Dec. 11, 2000, in Vista.
Born Jan. 28, 1919, in Honolulu, she lived in Oceanside for 20 years. She was a homemaker.
Mrs. Trump was preceded in death by her husband, Harold Trump. She is survived by her sons and daughters-in-law, Grant and Alexia Peirano of Escondido, Steve and Diane Peirano of Glendale and James Peirano of Carlsbad; daughter Gail Praninsky of Carlsbad; brothers and sisters-in-law William and Patty Faut and Henry and Susan Thomas, all of Honolulu; four grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held at noon Saturday, Dec. 16, at the Salvation Army Chapel, Silver Crest, in Oceanside. A private burial is planned.
Eternal Hills Mortuary is handling arrangements.

Adeline Kreutz, 88
SUN CITY - Adeline Frances Kreutz, 88, died Monday, Dec. 4, 2000, at Inland Valley Regional Medical Center.
Born Jan. 10, 1919, in Wisconsin, she lived in Sun City for 38 years. She was a homemaker.
Mrs. Kreutz is survived by her nephew, Alfred Kreutz of Las Vegas.
Inurnment will take place at Riverside National Cemetery.

Eli Stoica, 83
MURRIETA - Eli Michael Stoica, 83, died Saturday, Nov. 25, 2000, of myocardial infarction at Vencor Hospital in Ontario.
Born Oct. 28, 1917, in Youngstown, Ohio, he lived in Murrieta for seven years. He was a dart assembler for Dart Mart and served in the U.S. Army Air Force from 1942 to 1945.
Mr. Stoica is survived by his wife, Libby Stoica of Rancho Mirage; son Greg Stoica of Rancho Mirage; daughters Rhonda Starr of Vista, Linda Starr Rivin of Rancho Mirage and Ellen Star of Grants Pass, Ore.; grandchildren Mathew and Sherri Tartaglio of Palmdale and Amy and Bonnie Stoica of Vista; and great-grandchildren Meagan and Haley Tartaglio of Palmdale.
A graveside service was held Tuesday, Dec. 12, at Riverside National Cemetery.
Valley Funeral Home handled arrangements.

Frances Garcia, 76
MURRIETA - Frances Mildred Garcia, 76, died Monday, Dec. 11, 2000, of pneumonia, at Inland Valley Regional Medical Center.
Born Jan. 20, 1924, in Hartford, Conn., she lived in Murrieta for 12 years. She was a nurse's aide for Rancho Los Amigos in Downey before retiring in 1976. She enjoyed shopping and yard sales.
Mrs. Garcia is survived by her husband of 26 years, Joe Garcia of Murrieta; daughter Renee Sandecki of Sun City; son Ronald Miller of Palm Springs; brother Seymour Robinson of Gainsville, Fla.; sisters Dorothy Slitt and Ruth Robinson, both of Hartford; and two grandchildren.
Inurnment will take place at Riverside National Cemetery.

Gordon Norris, 94
HEMET - Gordon Leon Norris, 94, died Friday, Dec. 8, 2000, from complications of cardiovascular disease, at Village Health Care Center in Hemet.
Born Jan. 4, 1906, in Mount Vernon, Ill., he lived in Hemet for 25 years. He was an auditor for the U.S. Post Office in Chicago for 40 years. He was one of the founders of Concern of Sun City and a member of the United Church of Christ of Sun City. He was a Chicago Bear fan and enjoyed lawn bowling.
Mr. Norris is survived by his daughter, Patricia Berenschot of Hemet; three grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
A private service with inurnment was held.
The family suggests memorial donations to the United Church of Christ, 26701 McCall Blvd., Sun City, CA 92586.

Allan Moore, 49
MURRIETA - Allan D. Moore, 49, died Saturday, Dec. 9, 2000, of a heart attack.
Born March 11, 1951, in Redwood County, Minn., he lived in Murrieta. He worked for Northrop Grumman and served in the U.S. Marines from 1969 to 1980. He was a member of the Oak Springs Community Church in Murrieta.
Mr. Moore is survived by his wife of 15 years, Laurie Sue of Murrieta; sons Wesley Allan and Matthew Garrett, both of Murrieta; daughters Tammy Moore of Maplewood, Minn., and Lisa Moore of Burnsville, Minn.; brothers Robert Moore of Henderson, Nev., and Thomas Moore of Lucan, Minn.; sisters Lois Raduenz of Lucan, Sandy Harton of Chino Hills and Ruth Goryl of Greenfield, Wis.; and three grandchildren.
Visitation will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, Dec. 15, at Stout Family Funeral Home. A memorial service is scheduled for 11 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 16, at Grace Fellowship Church in Temecula. A private inurnment is planned.
The family suggests memorial donations to the Allan D. Moore Memorial Fund, c/o Bank of America, Murrieta Branch, 39398 Los Alamos Road, Murrieta, CA 92562.

Dwight Evans, 89
SUN CITY - Dwight Charles Evans, 89, died Monday, Dec. 11, 2000, at Menifee Valley Medical Center in Sun City.
Born Oct. 12, 1911, he lived in Sun City for 15 years. He was an engineer for Solar Turbine Engines Co. in San Diego before retiring in 1971. He served as a lieutenant in the U.S. Army during World War II and was a member of the Good Shepherd Lutheran Church and the Sun City Lions Club. He was a Toastmaster and winner of the Liars' Contest in Borrego.
Mr. Evans is survived by his wife, Anna M. Evans of Sun City and Temecula; daughters Sandra Kay Bates of Escondido and Carol Ann Green of San Diego; brother Vernon Evans of Sarasota, Fla.; three grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held from 2 to 8 p.m. today, Dec. 14, at Evans Brown Sun City Mortuary. A funeral service is scheduled for 11 a.m. Friday, Dec. 15, at the mortuary chapel. Burial will take place at San Marcos Cemetery.

Julia Chandler, 76
OCEANSIDE - Julia Mae "Judy" Chandler, 76, died Tuesday, Dec. 12, 2000, at Tri-City Medical Center.
Born Sept. 30, 1924, in Fairmount, W.Va., she lived in Oceanside for four years.
Mrs. Chandler was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Chandler. She is survived by her daughter, Bonnie Willbanks of Vista; granddaughter Britteny Willbanks of Vista; and many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held at 9 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 16, at the First Baptist Church in Carlsbad. A funeral service will follow at 10 a.m. at the church. Interment will take place at Rose Hills cemetery in Tyler, Texas.

Emmet Rathbun, 90
SAN MARCOS - Emmet Arthur Rathbun, 90, died Tuesday, Dec. 12, 2000, at Tri-City Medical Center.
Born Nov. 10, 1910, in Fayette County, Iowa, he lived in San Marcos for 22 years. He was a self-employed auto mechanic for 20 years.
Mr. Rathbun is survived by his wife, Florence Rathbun of San Marcos; daughter Jaquelyn Ohm of Des Moines, Iowa, Janet Dusini of Oceanside, Kathryn Marsh of Houston and Sandra Dugan of Irvine; 13 grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held from 12:30 to 2 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 16, at Allen Bros. Vista Chapel. A funeral service will follow at 2 p.m. Burial will take place at 11 a.m. Monday, Dec. 18, at San Marcos Cemetery.
The family suggests memorial donations to the American Heart Association, PO Box 1625, San Diego, CA 92103.

Richard Emerine, 43
OCEANSIDE - Richard Wayne Emerine, 43, died Wednesday, Dec. 13, 2000, in Oceanside.
Born March 27, 1957, in Fort Smith, Va., he lived in Oceanside for five years. He served in the U.S. Navy, retiring as commander. He was a medical doctor from 1984 to 2000 and a member of Palomar Church in Vista. He graduated from Elizabethtown High School in Kentucky in 1975 and was an Eagle Scout with the Boy Scouts of America and a member and fellow of the American Academy of Family Practice. He was a former board member of Uniformed Services Chapter of American Academy of Family Practice.
Dr. Emerine is survived by his wife, Pamela Emerine if Oceanside; mother and father Evelyn and Dr. Ollie Emerine of Elizabethtown; son Micah Emerine of Oceanside; daughters Rachel Emerine, Rebekah Emerine and Sarah Emerine, all of Oceanside; and brothers Gary Emerine of Birmingham, Ala., and Craig Emerine of Orlando, Fla.
Visitation will be held from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 16, at Tri-City Baptist Church in Vista. A funeral service will follow at 1 p.m. at the church, with the Revs. Charles Ivans and John Taster officiating. Burial will take place at 11 a.m. Monday, Dec. 18, at Fort Rosecrans National cemetery in Point Loma.
The family suggests memorial donations to Tri-City Christian School, 302 N. Emerald Drive, Vista, CA 92083; or Palomar Community Church, 2130 Industrial Court, Vista, CA 92083.

Carl Laetare, 72
ESCONDIDO - Carl Paul Laetare, 72, died Tuesday, Dec. 12, 2000, at his home.
Born Jan. 31, 1928, in Oxford Junction, Iowa, he lived in Escondido for 31 years. He was a letter carrier for the U.S. Postal Service for 26 years, retiring in 1987. He worked at Cowan's Sporting Goods in Escondido after retiring and was an avid hunter, outdoorsman and gardener. He was a member of Emmanuel Faith Church, serving as usher, sound technician and parking lot attendant. He served in the U.S. Navy in Korea as engineer first class.
Mr. Laetare is survived by his wife of 46 years, Janie C. Laetare of Escondido; son and daughter-in-law Jim E. and Karen Laetare of Palmyra, Va.; sisters and brothers-in-law Helen and Gaylord Rasmussen of Dewitt, Iowa, and Frances and Dr. Stven Kruse of Huxley, Iowa; and numerous nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, Dec. 15, at Emmanuel Faith Community Church, with the Rev. Richard Williams officiating. A private family inurnment will take place at Fort Rosecrans National cemetery in Point Loma.

Jayne Mitchell, 68
VISTA - Jayne Aldine Mitchell, 68, died Wednesday, Dec. 13, 2000, at her home.
Born Oct. 16, 1932, in Omaha, Neb., she lived in Vista for eight years. She was an executive assistant for Daniels & Associates before retiring this year. She enjoyed traveling and sports fishing.
Mrs. Mitchell is survived by her husband of 49 years, Jerrold M. Mitchell of Vista; daughter Kim Mitchell of Wildomar; and sister Nancy Crouse of Holiday Island, Ark.
A memorial Mass will be celebrated at 1 p.m. Monday, Dec. 18, at Old Mission San Luis Rey in Oceanside. Inurnment will follow at Mission San Luis Rey Cemetery.
The family suggests memorial donations to Elizabeth Hospice, 150 W. Crest St., Escondido, CA 92025.

Ralph Carr, 82
ESCONDIDO - Ralph Edwin Carr, 82, died Friday, Dec. 8, 2000, at his home.
Born Sept. 26, 1918, in New York City, he lived in Escondido for six years. He was an engineer for Hughes Aircraft and served in the U.S. Navy. He was a member of a barbershop quartet and enjoyed woodworking and hiking. He was a volunteer for Elizabeth Hospice.
Mr. Carr is survived by his wife of 17 years, Genevieve "Genny" L. Carr of Escondido; son Richard Dichara of Placerville; stepsons Fred Carr of Conoga Park, Joe Graves of Camas, Wash., Dave and Gary Graves of Escondido and Kenneth Graves of Arcata; daughter Laurie Carr of Kalona, Iowa; stepdaughters Kelly Ormesher of Colorado Springs, Colo., and Dawn Zabriskie of San Diego; 13 grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
A private family service, with inurnment will take place at Fort Rosecrans National Cemetery.

Maxine Wagnon, 77
RAMONA - Maxine A. Wagnon, 77, died Monday, Dec. 11, 2000, at a local hospital.
Born June 20, 1923, in Vinita, Okla., she lived in Ramona for 13 years. She was a homemaker.
Mrs. Wagnon is survived by her lifemate, Marvin Teel of Ramona; sons Tommy Wagnon of Dorena, Ore., Bobby Wagnon of Chula Vista and Dickie Wagnon of San Diego; daughter Arline Pierson of Lakeside; stepdaughter Joeva Garcia of Wickenberg, Ariz.; brother Loe Elsey of National City; sister Ann Parsons of El Cajon; eight grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
A celebration of her life will be held from 1 to 4 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 16, at the home of Roger and Rita Eastman, 20103 Para Siempre Vista in Ramona.

VISTA - Kim Mau, 30, died Wednesday, Dec. 20, 2000, in Oceanside.
Born Nov. 8, 1970, in Brookfield, Wis., she lived in Vista for 15 years.
Ms. Mau is survived by her mother and father, Esther and Earle Mau of Vista; brother and sister-in-law Chris and Lili Mau of Laguna Hills; and sisters Deanna Mau of Vista and Julie Mau of Carlsbad.
A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, Dec. 18, at Eternal Hills Mortuary Chapel, with the Rev. David Plank officiating. Burial will follow at Eternal Hills Memorial Park.
