This section will cover various aspects of the history of Siskiyou County.  It is our hope to bring in part, at least, some of the colorful history of this county's past.

Biographies illustrate Siskiyou pioneers in all their glory.  Most are taken from Wells book, History of Siskiyou County.  I was told that those persons whose biographies appear in this book paid to have them printed.

Tales is a section that will be devoted to stories of early Siskiyou County.

The Wells Index contains an index of all the names contained within his book, History of Siskiyou County.  Published originally in 1881, it contains a rather extensive look at the early days of Siskiyou County.

Homes section is a gallery of pioneer homes as they look today.  Many have been beautifully restored.
