JAMES COCHRAN LATOUR	ARENA CUNNINGHAM SCOTT
1827 - 1905	1839 - 1919

James Cochran LaTour was the grandson of Anthony William LaTour who came to the United States with the Marquis De Lafayette on the ship Victoria. He was a soldier in the revolution and his discharge from the Army is in Harvard, Illinois. Anthony and his wife Elizabeth had one son, James Cochran LaTour.

James Cochran LaTour was born on October 5, 1827 to Christina Kipp LaTour and James Cochran LaTour. He had two brothers and five sisters.

James married Arena Cunningham Scott January 28, 1877 in Plateau, Shasta County. She was born in Lincoln County, Tennessee on February 4, 1839.
