Dated: 28 February 1856 Probated: April 7, 1856 In the name of God Amen. I, John Nobili, being weak and sick in body, but of sound mind and disposing memory do make and ordain this as my last will and testament. My body I bequeath to the earth from whence it sprung, and my soul to God who gave it and my memory to the Holy Catholic Church in whose communion I hope to live and die. I give and bequeath all my property of any kind, real and personal and mixed to the President and Board of Trustees of Santa Clara College to have and to hold the same unto the said Corporation forever.
