Lillian Franklin, 88
ESCONDIDO - Lillian Eva Franklin, 88, died Thursday, March 23, 2000, in Escondido.
Born Feb. 7, 1912, in Herbert, Saskatchewan, Canada, she lived in Escondido for 25 years. She attended high school in Wolf Point, Mont., and graduated from college in Billings, Mont. She was an elementary school teacher in Wolf Point and Palo Alto before retiring. She was a member of Light and Life Free Methodist Church in Escondido.
Mrs. Franklin was preceded in death by her husband, LeRoy Franklin, in May 1998. She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Keith L. and Kathy Franklin of Escondido; brothers Robert Penner of Montana and Elmer Penner of San Diego; sisters Katherine Penner Unrau of Texas and Laura Penner Hagen of North Dakota; and one grandchild.
A funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday, March 29, at McLeod Mortuary, Escondido Chapel, with the Rev. Wesley Keller and Paul Kugler officiating. Burial will follow at Oak Hill Memorial Park.

VISTA - Edith Teresa Ingram, 93, died Tuesday, March 21, 2000, at SunBridge Care & Rehabilitation in Oceanside.
Born April 1, 1906, in El Paso, Texas, she lived in Vista for 39 years. She was the owner of a stationery store and a past member of the Eastern Star.
Mrs. Ingram is survived by her husband, Emory Arford of Vista.
No formal service is planned. A private cremation is planned, with inurnment taking place at Eternal Hills Memorial Park.

Mildred Rumin, 91
ESCONDIDO - Mildred Hailey Rumin, 91, died Tuesday, March 21, 2000, at Palomar Medical Center.
Born July 27, 1908, in Randolph, Neb., she lived in Escondido for 22 years. She was a homemaker and a member of the Eastern Star since she was 18 years old. She served as Past Worthy Matron in Lakewood, Colo., Past Mother Advisor in Columbine, Colo., and was a member of Rainbow Girls in Lakewood.
Mrs. Rumin is survived by her husband of 64 years, Carl Werner Rumin of Escondido; sons James M. Rumin of Arizona and David Rumin of Colorado; daughter Linda Diane Chapman of Colorado; sister Madeleine Green of Colorado; six grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
A funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday, March 29, at McLeod Mortuary, Escondido Chapel, with the Revs. Wesley Keller and Paul Kugler officiating. Burial will follow at 11 a.m. at Oak Hill Memorial Park.

OCEANSIDE - Angel Munoz Gonzalez, 47, died Thursday, March 23, 2000, at Tri-City Medical Center.
Born Oct. 1, 1952, in Mayarit, Mexico, he lived in Oceanside for 33 years. He was a member of the North American Laborer's International Local 89.
Mr. Gonzalez was preceded in death by his father, Feliz Gonzales. He is survived by his wife, Gloria Gonzalez of Oceanside; mother Luz Gonzalez of Los Angeles; son Miguel Gonzalez of Escondido; daughters Anna Gutierrez and Sarah Gonzalez, both of Oceanside; brothers Pancho Gonzalez, Baublo Gonzalez, Anacleto Gonzalez and Raul Gonzalez; sisters Belen Servantes, Raquel Espiricveta, Lucilla Martinez and Benita Gollardo; and six grandchildren.
Visitation will be held from 10 a.m. to noon Wednesday, March 29, at Vista Apostolic Church, with John Sanchez officiating. Burial will follow at 1:30 p.m. at Eternal Hills Memorial Park, with John Sanchez officiating.

ENCINITAS - James Palmer Johnson, 86, died Saturday, March 25, 2000, at a hospital in Encinitas
Born Oct. 31, 1913, in Mayville, N.D., he lived in the Carlsbad-Encinitas area for 48 years. He was the superintendent of Encinitas Union School District before retiring in 1972. He was the oldest member of the Encinitas Rotary Club and a recipient of the Paul Harris Fellow Award. He was a member of Phi Beta Kappa, Sons of Norway and the Association of California School Administrators.
Mr. Johnson was preceded in death by his brother, Joseph Johnson. He is survived by his wife of 63 years, Agatha Johnson of Carlsbad; sons and daughters-in-law James and Judy Johnson Jr. of Chico and Jerry and Dawn Johnson of Forestville; daughters and sons-in-law Judy and Fred Williamson of Oceanside, Jo and Richard Bertelsen of Veron, Wash., and Janine Johnson of Encinitas; brother Birger Johnson of Fresno; sister Irene Denison of Yuma, Ariz.; 19 grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.
A private service was held.

DESERT HOT SPRINGS - Perry Clifton Robertson, 65, died Sunday, March 26, 2000, at his home.
Born Feb. 22, 1935, in Escondido, he lived in Desert Hot Springs. He was a self-employed general contractor for 45 years.
Mr. Robertson is survived by his wife, Barbara Neathery Robertson of Desert Hot Springs; mother Paralee Goss of Desert Hot Springs; son Chuck Robertson of Desert Hot Springs; daughter Melissa Holcomb of Mountain Center; brother James Robertson of Trinity Center; sisters Joyce Sackett of Mission Viejo and Nancy Winterton of Desert Hot Springs; five grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

Mrs. Ayoubzadeh is survived by her sons, Abbus Torabi of Boston, Ali Torabi of Laguna Niguel, Hans Torabi of Escondido and Mohammad Torabi of Iran; daughter Payvin Jaberi of Oceanside; two sisters in Iran; 13 grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

Born Dec. 11, 1934, in Cambridge, Md., she lived in Fallbrook for four years. She was a homemaker for 45 years.
Mrs. Wilson was preceded in death by her brother, James Alton Wilson III. She is survived by her sons, Elmer L. Prigga Jr. of Mesa, Ariz., and James F. Prigga of Delair, N.J.; daughter Debra Batty of W. EL CAJON - Dr. Robert D. Jungman, 77, died Friday, March 17, 2000.
Born Feb. 12, 1923, in Van Meter, Iowa, he lived in El Cajon for 47 years. He graduated a dentist in 1947 from the University of Iowa, practicing in West Des Moines, Iowa and El Cajon for a total of more than 53 years. He served in the U.S. Navy from 1951 to 1953. He was a member of the American, Californian and San Diego County Dental associations.
Dr. Jungman was preceded in death by his wife of 51 years, Kathleen McIntire Jungman. Born Feb. 1, 1915, in Monongah, W.Va., he lived in Sun City for 21 years. He was a maintenance man for the Veteran's Hospital for five years and served in the U.S. Army.

Elizabeth Kurianski, 93 died Thursday, March 23 of heart failure at her home.
Born March 13, 1907, she lived in Romoland for 33 years. She was a homemaker her entire life.
She enjoyed traveling with her husband to Brazil and Europe. She was involved in the local Baha'i community and a member of the First Local Spiritual Assembly of Perris Valley. Although her true love was for her family, grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Mrs. Kurianski is survived by her two sons, Carlos Kurianski of Romoland and Stanley Kurianski of New York; 12 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren.
Visitation is scheduled from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., Tuesday, March 28 at Miller-Jones Mortuary & Crematory in Sun City. Service will follow from 1-1:45 p.m.
