FALLBROOK - Rae Leanore Boardman, 87, died Wednesday, Feb. 2, 2000, in Fallbrook.
Born May 30, 1912, in Helena, Mont., she lived in Fallbrook for three years. She worked for Lockheed for 20 years.
Ms. Boardman is survived by her niece, Judy Beckhorn-Ross of Wasilla, Ark.
A memorial service was held Saturday, Feb. 19, at St. John's Episcopal Church, with the Rev. Donald Kroeger officiating. A private cremation was held with cremains scattered at sea.

LAKE SAN MARCOS - Ray Edgar McAllister, 85, died Wednesday, March 8, 2000, at Lake San Marcos.
Born Jan. 26, 1915, he lived at Lake San Marcos for 25 years. He was an attorney-at-law for Brandlin & McAllister and a member of the Lake San Marcos Kiwanis Club.
Mr. McAllister is survived by his wife, Bonnie Jean McAllister of Lake San Marcos; sons Bruce McAllister of Medway, Mass., and Scott McAllister of Salida, Colo.; stepson Robert Michael Shanahan of Indian Wells; daughter Cameron Williams of Pueblo, Colo.; grandchildren Kristin McAllister of Medway, Michael McAllister of Bay Point, Kimberly Stubbs of Keflavic, Iceland, Katie Williams of Denver, and Lindsey and Chleo and Grace McAllister, all of Salida.
A memorial service will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, March 17, at Church of Our Saviour in San Gabriel. Another memorial service is scheduled for 10 a.m. Monday, March 20, at the Lake San Marcos Recreational Center. Inurnment will take place at San Gabriel Cemetery.

ESCONDIDO - Delores Mae Olvaney, 75, died Sunday, March 12, 2000, at her home in Escondido.
Born Jan. 14, 1925, in Michigan City, Ind., she lived in Escondido for 30 years. She was a homemaker.
Mrs. Olvaney is survived by her husband of 55 years, John "Jack" Olvaney of Escondido; sons and daughters-in-law John W. II and Candace Olvaney of Valley Center and Tim and Kim Olvaney of Fallbrook; daughter and son-in-law Judy and Andre Smith of Escondido; sister Barbara Jean Krockover of Indiana; and five grandchildren.
Visitation and viewing will be held from 5 to 8 p.m., with a rosary recited at 7 p.m. Thursday, March 16, at McLeod Mortuary, Escondido Chapel. A Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Friday, March 17, at Church of the Resurrection in Escondido, with the Rev. Charles "Chuck" Fulds officiating. Burial will follow at Oak Hill Memorial Park.

ESCONDIDO - Donald E. King, 67, died Friday, March 10, 2000, at Palomar Medical Center.
Born Aug. 5, 1932, in Faison, N.C., he lived in San Diego County for 39 years. He was a driver and mechanic in the delivery service for 40 years.
Mr. King is survived by his wife of 47 years, Beverly A. King of Escondido; sons and daughters-in-law Richard King and Brenda Harmon of Escondido, Ray and Peggy King of San Diego and Don Jr. and Ruby King of Modesto; daughter and son-in-law Tracy and Tom Gruhot of Lakeside; 12 grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

SAN MARCOS - Beula Ann Laville, 94, died Sunday, March 12, 2000, at a local convalescent home.
Born Aug. 5, 1905, in Johnson City, Ill., she lived in San Marcos for five years. She was the food counter manager for Ford Hopkins drug store for nine years.
Mrs. LaVille is survived by her daughter, Betty J. Bardo of San Marcos; three grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and 11 great-great-grandchildren.
A graveside service will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday, March 16, at San Marcos Cemetery, with the Rev. Eric Menees officiating. Interment will follow.

FALLBROOK - Elizabeth Lauterbach 45, died Sunday, Feb. 13, 2000, of cancer, at her home in Fallbrook.
Born April 23, 1954, in St. Joseph's Hospital in Orange, she lived in Fallbrook for eight years. She was a graphic artist.
Ms. Lauterbach was preceded in death by her father, Theodore Lauterbach and her sisters, Susan Lauterbach and twin Barbara Lauterbach She is survived by her mother, June Lauterbach of Costa Mesa; son Nick Hutton; daughter Sarah Hutton; brother James Lauterbach of Lake Forest; sister Teresa Samuelson; nephew Jeffrey Samuelson of Oceanside; and niece Elissa Samuelson of Oceanside.
A private memorial service was held at her home with family and close friends on Sunday, Feb. 20. A memorial to remember and honor Elizabeth's life is being planned for a later date.

Born Aug. 6, 1922, in San Diego, she lived in Julian for 21 years. She graduated from Point Loma High School and attended San Diego State. She was a member of St. Elizabeth's Catholic Church in Julian, singing in the choir, a member of the Guild of Our Lady, a Professed Tertiary of the Secular Order of the Discalced Carmelites, St. Joseph Fraternity, San Diego, and a member of Lincoln Demming American Legion Ladies Auxiliary Post of Julian.
Mrs. Phelps is survived by her husband of 52 years, Captain Hank Phelps of Julian; son Matthew Phelps of Ramona; daughters Michele Phelps of Julian, Nan Phelps of Berkeley and Anne Phelps Schnapp of Ramona; brother John Forward of Eureka; sister Adele Hemgren of Penn Valley; and eight grandchildren.

MURRIETA - Richard C. Call, 68, died Sunday, March 12, 2000, at Huntington Memorial Hospital in Pasadena.
Born April 4, 1931, in Cambridge, Mass., he lived in Murrieta for five years. He served in the U.S. Air Force for four years during the Korean War. He worked for Hughes Aircraft, retiring in 1987. He was a member of St. Martha's Catholic Church in Murrieta.
Mr. Call is survived by his wife of 45 years, Beatrice Call; son Gary Call of Henderson, Nev.; daughters Karen Beal of LaVerne, Cassandra Headly of San Bernardino and Leslie Call of Murrieta; brothers Frank Call of Plantation, Fla., Danny Call of West Palm Beach, Fla., and John Call of Fontana; sister Carol Hill of Londondery, N.H.; 11 grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

RANCHO BERNARDO - Ida M. Barnes, 92, died Tuesday, March 7, 2000, at Pomerado Hospital.
Born Sept. 22, 1907, in Rolla, N.D., she lived in Rancho Bernardo for three years. She was a homemaker and a volunteer for the civil service in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. She worked at Rock Island Arsenal in Rock Island, Ill., and for the Treasury Department in Washington, D.C. She was a member of Christian Women's Group, Ceramics Club and was an honorary member of Eastern Star Malta Chapter 415 in Cedar Rapids.
Mrs. Barnes was preceded in death by her husband, Roy E. Barnes, in 1991. She is survived by her sons, Roy Barnes Jr. of Kirkland, Wash., and Larry Barnes of Renton, Wash.; daughters Guinevere Dudley of Shell Knob, Mo., and Alice Curry of Escondido; 11 grandchildren; and 17 great-grandchildren.
A private family memorial service was held. A private inurnment took place in Shell Knob, Mo.

Born Dec. 13, 1929, in Rowley, Mass., she lived in Oceanside for three years. She was a bookkeeper for 45 years and a member of the Business and Professional Women's organization. She was a volunteer den leader in Boy Scouts and troop leader in Girl Scouts. She was a member of the First Christian Church of Vista, serving as treasurer.
Mrs. Berry was preceded in death by her husband of 18 years, Jack Berry, in 1991. She is survived by her son, Arthur B. Cyr of Vista; daughters Susan M. Hansen of Escondido, Jeanette L. Kucharski of Auburn, Maine, and Rose M. OCEANSIDE - Master Sgt. Aimeamata Simuka Peapealalo died Thursday, March 9, 2000, of a heart attack, at Tri-City Medical Center.
Born in October of 1925 in Samoa, he lived in Oceanside. He served in the U.S. Marine Corps and was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
Mr. Peapealalo is survived by his wife, Sifulu Peapealalo of Oceanside; sons Reynaldo Peapealalo and John Peapealalo, both of Vista; daughters Imelda Gee of Vista, Angie Peapealalo and Sivaimauga Peapealalo, both of Oceanside; brother Aimeauela Peapealalo of Santa Maria; sisters Esther Pedro and Toga Kirkpatrick, both of Oceanside; grandchildren Rachelea Peapealalo Aguilar, Jeremiah Peapealalo, JoAnna, Christina, Miristy, Joseph, Garrett and Gabrielle Gee; and great-grandchildren Bobby, Eric and Brandon Peapealalo and Leah Boice.

Mr. Fain is survived by his wife, Ruth E. Fain of Vista; and sister Ruby Burrow of North Hollywood.
