Bonnie Gilbert, 65
OCEANSIDE - Bonnie Lee Gilbert, 65, died Tuesday, Feb. 1, 2000, in Vista.
Born Aug. 8, 1934, in Los Angeles, she lived in Oceanside for 10 years. She was a supervisor at Federal Express for 11 years.
Mrs. Gilbert was preceded in death by her mother, Mildred Meikle of Vista; sons Michael Gilbert of Colorado, Jim Gould of Norco and Richard Gilbert of Las Vegas; daughters Peg McKenzie of Oceanside and Diana Lee Harkins of Foothill Ranch; sister Sherron Davis of Florence, Ore.; and two grandchildren.
No formal service is scheduled. A private family inurnment is planned.

Kevin Tannenbaum, 32
TEMECULA - Kevin T. Tannenbaum, 32, died Sunday, Jan. 30, 2000, in Temecula.
Born Feb. 12, 1967, in San Diego, he lived in Temecula for four years. He was a self-employed contractor. He graduated from Escondido High School in 1985 and served in the U.S. Army from 1986 to 1989.
Mr. Tannenbaum is survived by his mother and stepfather, Karleen and Ron Wade of Temecula; father Leonard Tannenbaum of Rancho Bernardo; daughter Taylor Tannenbaum and her mother, Andrea Archer, of Escondido; and sister Elizabeth Tannenbaum of Escondido.
A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 5, at McLeod Mortuary Chapel.
The family suggests memorial donations to San Diego Hospice, 4311 Third Ave., San Diego, CA 92103.

Kevin Erdelyi, 14
CARLSBAD - Kevin Scott Erdelyi, 14, died Monday, Jan. 31, 2000, at Scripps Hospital.
Born July 22, 1985, in Michigan, he lived in Carlsbad for 1 1/2 years. He was a student at La Costa Canyon High School.
Kevin is survived by his mother and father, Lois and Emery Erdelyi of Carlsbad; brother Christopher Erdelyi of Carlsbad; sister Michelle Erdelyi of Carlsbad; and grandparents Elizabeth and Zolton Veres of Windsor, Canada.
Visitation will be held from noon to 2 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 5, at Eternal Hills Chapel. A funeral service will follow at 2 p.m. Burial will take place at Eternal Hills Memorial Park.

Joseph Kreilach, 91
FALLBROOK - Joseph H. Kreilach, 91, died Monday, Jan. 31, 2000, in San Jacinto.
Born June 25, 1908, in Caro, Mich., he lived in Fallbrook for 26 years. He worked for General Motor before retiring and becoming the owner/operator of a restaurant for 40 years.
Mr. Kreilach is survived by his wife of 55 years, Mary E. Kreilach of Fallbrook; brother Henry Krielach of Pontiac, Mich.; and sister Jean Bauer of Pontiac.
No service will be held at the request of the deceased. Interment will take place at Fallbrook Masonic Cemetery.

Virginia Thompson, 97
OCEANSIDE - Virginia L. Thompson, 97, died Tuesday, Feb. 1, 2000, of a stroke, at Tri-City Medical Center.
Born April 12, 1902, in Kansas City, Mo., she lived in Oceanside for nine years. She was a chiropractic doctor and a member of the Community Church of Vista.
Mrs. Thompson is survived by her son, Henry "Jack" Hoeppner of Rohnert Park; daughter Barbara A. Wyatt of Oceanside; grandchildren John Wyatt, Ginnie Wyatt, Mary Lou Tiner, Jacquelyn Greco and Johnny Hoeppner; 15 great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 5, at Community Church of Vista, with the Rev. Mark Alvis officiating. A private cremation is planned.

Monica Ramirez, 22
MURRIETA - Monica Marie Flores Ramirez, 22, died Friday, Jan. 28, 2000, at Loma Linda Medical Center.
Born Dec. 22, 1977, in Oceanside, she lived in Oceanside for 10 years. She graduated from Esperanza High School in Murrieta in 1995 and attended a vocational school, graduating with a certificate in computer accounting. She worked for International Rectifier for one year.
Mrs. Ramirez is survived by her husband, Julian Ramirez of Sun City; mother Teresa Flores of Moreno Valley; father Rodolfo Flores of Chula Vista; daughters Erika Flores and Alyssa Ramirez; brother Anthony Flores of Chula Vista; sister Josie Flores of Moreno Valley; nephew Moises Flores Lopez of Moreno Valley; grandmother Lydia Hernandez of Carlsbad; and various uncle, aunts and cousins in Carlsbad and San Antonio, Texas.
Visitation was held and a rosary recited on Wednesday, Feb. 2, at St. Patrick's Catholic Church in Carlsbad. A funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11 a.m. today, Feb. 3, at St. Patrick's Catholic Church. Burial will follow at Eternal Hills Memorial Park.

Charles Hanson, 73
TEMECULA - Charles F. Hanson, 73, died Sunday, Jan. 30, 2000, of acute respiratory failure at Rancho Springs Medical Center.
Born Dec. 28, 1926, in Algona, Iowa, he lived in Temecula for eight months. He was a truck driver with Umthun Trucking in Eagle Grove, Iowa, for 42 years before retiring. He received the Million Mile Award for trucking with no accidents. He served as a corporal in the U.S. Army from 1945 to 1946 and was a member of St. Cecelia Parish in Algona.
Mr. Hanson is survived by his wife, Juanita Hanson of Temecula; son Charles Hanson of Oskalossa, Iowa; daughters Frances Bretz of Amarillo, Texas, Natalie Steffens of Temecula and Virginia Culp of Fort Dodge, Iowa; sisters Violet Bauder and Betty Hanson, both of Chester, Mont.; and two grandchildren.
A rosary was recited Wednesday, Feb. 2, at Stout Family Funeral Home. A Mass will be celebrated on Friday, Feb. 4, at St. Cecelia Catholic Church in Algona. Burial will follow at Calvary Cemetery.

Lillian Jones, 94
ENCINITAS - Lillian Rose Jones, 94, died Monday, Jan. 31, 2000, at a rest home in Encinitas.
Born Nov. 25, 1905, in Pasadena, she lived in Encinitas for many years.
Mrs. Jones is survived by her son, Rodney Jones of Palos Verdes; daughter Marilyn Kluge of San Dimas; five grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
A private service was held.

Wilbur Lee, 79
LA JOLLA - Wilbur Allen Lee, 79, died Tuesday, Feb. 1, 2000, at a hospital in La Jolla.
Born May 4, 1920, in Chicago, he lived in Carlsbad for nine years. He was in the wholesale food business for 48 years.
Mr. Lee is survived by his wife, Lois Lee of Carlsbad; sons Bill Lee of Moraga and Edward Rolnich of Chicago; daughters Caralinda Lee-Bussotti of San Francisco, Valerie Weinberg of Granet Bay and Andria Glantz of Las Vegas; sister Violet Carr of Los Angeles; and five grandchildren.
A graveside service will be held at 1 p.m. Friday, Feb. 4, at El Camino Memorial Park in San Diego.

Marie Dempsey, 83
ESCONDIDO - Marie Ann Dempsey, 83, died Saturday, Jan. 29, 2000, in Escondido.
Born Dec. 20, 1916, in Dutton, Mont., she lived in Escondido for 20 years. She was a buyer and sales clerk for 25 years and worked for Butler Brothers.
Mrs. Dempsey is survived by her son, Richard Dempsey of Sumner, Wash.; brother Rudy Fuhringer of Dutton, Mont.; sisters Helen Merrill of Dutton and Irene Toneyes of Power, Mont.; and grandson Ted Dempsey of Ellensberg, Wash.
A memorial Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Friday, Feb. 4, at Church of the Resurrection in Escondido. A private cremation is planned.

Alvin Healy, 67
SAN MARCOS - Alvin C. Healy, 67, died Tuesday, Feb. 1, 2000, at his home.
Born Aug. 29, 1932, in Oklahoma, he lived in San Marcos for three years. He was an accountant before retiring.
Mr. Healy was preceded in death by his brother, Winford H. Healy, in 1996. He is survived by his brother, Vernon Healy of Cottage Hills, Ill.; sister Lilly May Eldredge of Texas; nephew Kurt Healy of Vista; and nieces Patricia Rosia and Linda Vanoni, both of San Marcos.
Visitation will be held from 9 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Monday, Feb. 7, at Eternal Hills Mortuary. A graveside service and burial will follow at 1 p.m.

Darwin Heuser, 78
VISTA - The Rev. Darwin Halbert Heuser, 78, died Tuesday, Feb. 1, 2000, in Oceanside.
Born Nov. 19, 1921, in the Heuser farmhouse at Blue Mounds, Wis., he lived in Vista for two years. He was a reverend for Calvary Temple in Waukegan, Ill., from 1966 to 1985.
Rev. Heuser is survived by his wife of 57 years, Ona Heuser of Vista; sons and daughter-in-law Rolland Heuser of Willamina, Ore., and Roger and Gayle Heuser of Laguna Niguel; daughter Rachel Heuser of Laguna Niguel; brother Otis Heuser of Milwaukee; sister Dolores Achtor of Milwaukee; and granddaughter Rebecca Heuser of McMinneville, Ore.
A memorial service will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 5, at Vista Assembly of God. A second memorial service is scheduled for 3 p.m. Monday, Feb. 7, at Bethel Assembly of God in Milwaukee.
