William Swank, 70
LAKE ELSINORE - William Oral Swank, 70, died Friday, April 21, 2000, of cardiopulmonary arrest at Inland Valley Regional Medical Center.
Born April 3, 1930, in Battle Creek, Mich., he lived at Lake Elsinore for 15 years. He was a maintenance mechanic for Coca Cola Foods in Anaheim for 20 years.
Mr. Swank is survived by his wife, Lidia Conception Swank of Lake Elsinore; mother Lola Swank Groves of Battle Creek; sons Randy Swank of Illinoise, Ga., Rory Swank of Lake Elsinore; daughters Robin Holt of Austin, Texas, Ricki Thompson of Huntington Beach and Roxanne Wheeler of Fountain Valley; brothers Leo Swank of Westminster, Dean Swank of Margate, Fla., and Rex Swank of Battle Creek; 15 grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. today, April 25, at Evans Brown Sun City Mortuary. A private cremation is planned.

Arthur Oliver, 86
SUN CITY - Arthur Gale Oliver, 86, died Thursday, April 20, 2000, of heart failure, at Menifee Valley Medical Center.
Born Nov. 15, 1913, in Memphis, Mo., he lived in Sun City for nine years. He was an industrial caterer for R-Bow Food Service in Bell for 25 years and served in the U.S. Army from 1943 to 1945. He was a member of the Canyon Lake Community Church and the Rivera Christian Church of Pico Rivera, serving as elder and deacon and singing in the choir. He was also a member of the Christian Men's Fellowship and the Canyon Lake Twirlers.
Mr. Oliver is survived by his wife, Freda Oliver of Sun City; son Larry Oliver of Moreno Valley; daughter Linda Mannix of Diamond Bar; and four grandchildren.
Visitation was held Monday, April 24, at Miller-Jones Mortuary Chapel. A funeral service is scheduled for 11 a.m. today, April 25, at Canyon Lake Community Church. Burial will take place at Riverside National Cemetery.

SUN CITY - Delta Rae Morrell, 83, died Thursday, April 20, 2000, at his home.
Born July 23, 1916, in Longrun, Mo., she lived in Sun City for 10 years. She was a cook for Philman Cafeteria in Vernon for six years and a member of the Sun City United Methodist Church and the Shirts & Skirts Square Dance Club of Orange.
Mrs. Morrell is survived by her son, Leonard Lee of Oak Hills; daughter Evelyn Crowder of Sun City; brothers Lonnie Welch of South Gate and Fred Welch of Missouri; sister Kay Phillips of Kimberling, Mo.; four grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held Monday, April 24, at Evans Brown Sun City Mortuary. A funeral service is scheduled for 3 p.m. today, April 25, at Evans Brown Sun City Mortuary. Burial will take place at 1 p.m. Wednesday, April 26, at Park Lawn cemetery in the City of Commerce.

Born May 28, 1939, in Vista, she lived in Escondido for 35 years. She was a homemaker.
Mrs. Sullivan is survived by her husband of 40 years, William Sullivan; sons Kevin Sullivan and Damian Sullivan, both of Escondido, and Darin Sullivan of San Diego; daughters Shanna Sullivan of St. Paul, Minn., Aline Sullivan of San Diego and Katie Page and Staci Sullivan, both of Escondido; brother Gordon Grisman of Camas, Wash.; sister Katharine Tiderman of San Marcos; and five grandchildren.

MENIFEE - Thomas Lee Stalnaker, 75, died Sunday, April 23, 2000, of congestive heart failure, at his home.
Born Jan. 4, 1925, in Elkins, W.Va., he lived in Menifee for six years. He was an engineer for McDonnell Douglas in Long Beach for 45 years. He served in the U.S. Army from 1943 to 1945 and was a member of the American Modelers Association and the Menifee Congregation of Jehovah's Witnesses, serving as an elder.
Mr. Stalnaker is survived by his wife, Bonnie Stalnaker of Menifee; stepmother Ruth Stalnaker of Coronado; daughters Lori Ford and Linda Johnson, both of San Diego; brother Park Stalnaker of Lakeside; and grandchildren Amanda, Ryan and Scott, all of San Diego.
A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, April 29, at the Menifee Congregation of Jehovah's Witnesses.

Born Nov. 4, 1908, in Nova Scotia, Canada, she lived in Nuevo for 51 years. She was a real estate broker for Hartley Realty in Riverside and the Claude T. Smith Realty for 20 years. She was a member of the Victoria Community Church of Riverside and the Perris Senior Center.
Mrs. Lovelace was preceded in death by her son, Kenneth Nicholson. She is survived by her daughters, Connie King of Nuevo and Barbara Stoner of Hemet; eight grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.
A private service and inurnment will be held at a later date at Riverside National Cemetery.

Born Aug. 12, 1913, in Oceanville, Maine, she lived in Sun City for 15 years. She was an assembler for Rockwell in Newport Beach for 12 years.
Mrs. Judkins is survived by her husband, Francis Judkins of Sun City; daughters Evangeline Diederich of Riverside and Helen Morey of Deer Isle, Maine; 16 grandchildren; and 26 great-grandchildren.

Asiel Tyler, 75
Asiel Tyler, 75, died Sunday, April 23, 2000, of complications following open heart surgery.
Born Aug. 18, 1924, in Decatur, Mich., he lived in Oceanside for six and one-half years. He attended school in Crown Point, Ind., and entered the U.S. Army in 1943, serving in the Battle of the Bulge and European operations until 1946. He worked in the x-ray and electronic fields at U.S. Steel in Gary, Ind., and for Hughes Aircraft in California, retiring in 1989.
Mr. Tyler was preceded in death by his wife of 31 years, Barbara Jenkins, in 1981. He is survived by his wife of 18 years, Pauline Gamble Tyler; sons and daughters-in-law Neal and Sue Tyler of La Habra Heights, Stanley and Jody Tyler of Aliso Viejo, Douglas and MeiLing Tyler of Torrance and Bradley and Keri Fries of Cathedral City; daughters and sons-in-law Robin and Frank Schweizer of Marysville, Wash., Gretchen and Alex Benedettini of Huntington Beach and April and Randy Roberts of Yorba Linda; sisters Dorothy Crisalle of Pensacola, Fla., and Marie Graves of Cedar Lake, Ind.; and 16 grandchildren.

VISTA - Robert Allen Moore, 73, died Friday, April 21, 2000, at his home in Vista.
Born April 7, 1927, in Christiansburg, Va., he lived in San Diego, Carlsbad, Oceanside and Vista for 20 years. He owned an accounting firm for 25 years and served in the U.S. Army. He was a court recorder for the Nuremberg trials.
Mr. Moore is survived by his son, Allen K. Barnett of Rockwall, Texas; and daughter Sherry Gale Atkinson of North Carolina.
