Timothy Howard Whalen 

Services: Thurs., Jan. 5, 7:00 p.m. Timothy Howard Whalen passed away 
Christmas night, after a long illness. He was 55. Mr. Whalen was born in 
Bakersfield, California on April 28, 1950, the son of Howard and Nadine 
Whalen. He graduated from Bakersfield High School in 1968. He earned a 
Bachelor of Science Degree with Honors from Loma Linda University. Mr. Whalen 
was a founding partner, Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of Brittany 
Insurance Service Inc., of Glendale, California since 1989. He is survived by 
his children, Patrick and Rebecca Whalen and their mother, Joan Whalen of La 
Canada. He is also survived by his mother, Nadine Whalen of Ventura; his 
sister, Martha Collins of Santa Paula and her children, Jake and Rian Anne 
Rolls. In lieu of flowers, friends may contribute to the Pasadena Humane 
Society. A memorial service will be held Thursday, January 5th, at 7:00 p. m., 
at Crippen Mortuary, 2900 Honolulu Avenue, in La Crescenta, CA.
