Robert Edward Schubbe 
Services: Fri., Jan. 6, 1:30 p.m. 

Services will be held in Greenlawn Memorial Chapel, 3700 River Blvd. Pastor 
Dave Champness will officiate. Robert Edward Schubbe (aka "Bob" and "Poppy") 
died January 4, 2006. He was born on July 19, 1927 in San Diego, California. 
Bob was a Shriner for many years and worked in the almond industry since 1948. 
He was preceded in death by father, John S. Schubbe and mother, Emilie L. 
Jaschiniak. Bob is survived by his loving wife, Dorothy F. Schubbe of 
Bakersfield; daughter, Vicki English and husband, Craig of Sacramento; son, 
Robert Schubbe and wife, Wendy of Medford, OR; step-daughters, Shirley 
Underwood and husband, Larry; grandchildren, Lindsay Zuelich, Jennifer 
Callahan, Randy Thomas, Kelly Thomas and wife, Kathleen, Steve Underwood and 
wife, Cindy, and Stacey Rueb and husband, Robert; great-grandchildren, 
Katrina, Kori and Kooper Thomas, Megan and Zachary Baker, Micah Schubbe, and 
Natalie and Stephanie Underwood; brother, Jack Schubbe and wife, Hazel and 
daughter-in-law, Barbara Thomas. Bob loved to travel with his precious wife 
Dorothy to any destination. Poppy Bob was a very humble and kind hearted man. 
He loved every facet of life, especially making others laugh and smile. Poppy 
was most of all a very generous and loving person. He will be missed greatly 
and thought of often. We all love you Sweetheart! In lieu of flowers please 
make a donation to your favorite charity.
