Nick Mike Sarilo
Aug. 15, 1918 – Aug. 8, 2005

Nick Mike Sarilo was born Aug. 15, 1918, in Tonapah, Nev., to Nick and Marion 
Sarilo. 

Nick served in the United States Army from Dec. 28, 1942 to June 27, 1945. He 
was a Staff Sergeant with Company A, 1913th Engineer Battalion. During World 
War II, he received two bronze battle stars.

Nick is survived by his wife, Barbara J. Sarilo; step-daughter, Jean Senitt 
and husband Mitch of Glendale; step-son, Charles Markey of Chico; 
grandchildren, Eric Markey, Andrew Senitt and Ellen West; great-
granddaughters, Emma and Hannah West; nephew, Troy Ford and wife Anita of 
Fresno and their children, Dennis and Greg.

Nick was preceded in death by his first wife, Ruth Ann Sarilo, and son, Martin 
Lee Sarilo.

No services are scheduled. Cremation arrangements were handled by Wood Family 
Funeral Service.
