Ochoa June 17, 1929 - May 25, 2005 Sara passed away peacefully on Wednesday, May 25, 2005 in Bakersfield. Sara was born to Haurelia and Miguel Ruiz on June 17, 1929 in San Antonio, Michoacan, Mexico. She was the third of five children. Sara married Guillermo Ochoa Valencia in 1944 and she came to Wasco in August of 1977. Then she married Jorge Alaniz in 1956. She will be forever missed by her daughters, Sara Vento of Wasco, Maria Lilia and Roberto Contreras of Bakersfield, Maria DeJesus and Moises Ochoa of Bakersfield, Yolanda and Gabriel Diaz of Wasco, Ana Maria and Jose Castillo of Michuacan, Mexico and Maria and Ramon Velez of Wasco; her sons, Carlos and Consuelo Ochoa, Miguel and Ofelia Ochoa, Guillermo and Natalia Ochoa, Pedro and Bertha Ochoa, Fernando and Christina Alaniz, all of Wasco, amd Jose and Silvia Alaniz of Pharr, Texas; 49 grandchildren, 51 great grandchildren; sister, Esperanza Nelson of Wasco; brother, Luis Ruiz Cervantez of Mexicali, Mexico. She was preceded in death by her husband, Guillermo Ochoa Valencia; a son, Fernando Ochoa; daughters, Jesucita Ochoa and Maria Concepcion; grandchildren, Carlos, Consuelito, Angelito and Teresita Ochoa. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, May 31, 2005 from 2pm to 8pm with a wake a 6pm at Peters Funeral Home. The funeral service will be held on Wednesday, June 1, 2005 at 10am at Iglesias Del Nazarene Hispana in Wasco. Mother, we will miss your beautiful smile and wisdom.
