Robert Rhoades

Robert, Bob or Dusty, Rhoades. Born July 15, 1929 died Saturday, October 15, 
2005, in San Francisco after a long illness. Bob was a longtime resident of 
Earlimart and Delano. A graduate of Delano High School in 1946. He was an 
electrical contractor. He traveled to many foreign countries working as an 
overseas contractor. Its been said that he never met a stranger. He made 
friends wherever he went. Bob is survived by his son, Steven, wife, Terri and 
their sons, Justin and Nicholas of Boonville, CA and his daughter, Jennie Lee 
Moore, husband, Doyl and their daughter, Andrea also of Boonville. He is 
survived by stepgranddaughter, Terry Edwards and family of Bakersfield. Bob is 
also survived by many nieces, nephews and friends near and far. He is preceded 
in death by his wife, Tempee in 1997; mother and father, Emmit and Dora Mae; 
brothers, Louis and Calvin and sister, Martha. Memorial service will be held 
Saturday, October 29, 2005, at Delano Mortuary. Interment will follow at North 
Kern District Cemetery in Delano.
