Mother was surrounded by her daughters, sons, and grandchildren. In the time, she opened her eyes and saw our Lord and all His glory. We are so fortunate of having such a wonderful, loving and wise mother, always giving advise to us, and most of all, always full of laughter. Petra was born in Asherton, Texas, on March 2, 1927. She was preceded in death by her parents, Lorenzo and Julia Montecino; her husband, Justo Marines, Sr.; daughter, Mary Montecino and son, Rene Marines. Petra is survived by her children, Susie Aguirre and husband, Ray, Martha Serda, Justo Marines, Jr. and wife, Margie, Victoria Jackson and Danny Marines; sister, Lupe Sanchez and husband, Pete; brothers, Oscar Montecino and wife, Lala, Larry Montecino and wife, Cheryl and Joe Montecino. Mother has 22 grandchildren and 39 great- grandchildren. Way to go Mom. The family invites you to Petras viewing Wednesday, 10 a.m. 8 p.m., at Peters Funeral Home, with the Rosary at 6:00 p.m., at Peters Funeral Home. Mass of the Christian Burial will be at 10:00 a.m., Thursday, at St. Johns Church. That day, which you fear as being the end of all things, is the birthday of your eternity.
