Frank L. Mitchell 
Services: Fri., Feb. 10, 1:00 p.m. 

Graveside funeral services will be held in the West Side District Cemetery on 
Friday, February 10, 2006, at 1:00 p.m., for longtime Taft resident, Frank L. 
Mitchell, 80. Mr. Mitchell was born in Lost Hills on November 28, 1925 and 
went home to be with the Lord on February 7, 2006. Mr. Mitchell served our 
country in the U.S. Army during World War II in Europe. He worked for Mobil 
Oil as a construction supervisor and retired after 43 years. Mr. Mitchell was 
a member of the American Legion Fellows Post #63. He loved camping and 
fishing. Mr. Mitchell enjoyed camp posting in Oceano for over 10 years. Mr. 
Mitchell was preceded in death by his father, Willard Mitchell in 1969; his 
mother, Mary Mitchell in 1981; and by his wife, Faye E. Mitchell in 1993. His 
survivors include his children and their spouses, Dan and Pam Mitchell, Sheryl 
and Juan Nuncio, Carolyn and James Davis and Beth and Pat Garrett, all of 
Taft; his 13 grandchildren; his 9 great-grandchildren; and by his brother and 
his wife, Art and Jennie Mitchell of Colorado Springs, Colorado. Those who 
wish to pay their respects may do so on Thursday, from 3:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m., 
at the Erickson & Brown Funeral Home. Erickson & Brown Funeral Home
