"The BBQ King"
March 13, 1946 - July 9, 2004

Visitation for Donald Eugene Finch will be held at Basham Funeral Care (3312 
Niles St.) on Tuesday, July 13, 2004 from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. and funeral 
services will be held at the Great Beginnings Christian Church (4201 
University Avenue) on Wednesday, July 14, 2004, at 11:00 a.m. Pastor Mel 
Billington will officiate. 

Donald was born March 13, 1946 in Denver, Colorado and he passed away on July 
9, 2004, in Bakersfield with his family by his side. Donald was preceded in 
death by his mother, Naomi Finch and 2 sisters, Eileen Harris and Susan White. 
He is survived by his wife, Debbie Finch; son and daughter-in-law, Robert and 
Cheryl Finch; daughter, Stephanie Finch; daughter and son-in-law, Wendy and 
Tom Latham; daughter, Molli Finch; twin daughters, Hope and Destiny Bohan; 
sister, Fran Rudolph; sister and brother-in-law, Dorothy and Allen Smith; 10 
grandchildren; 1 great-grandchild and numerous other family members and 
friends.

Don lived most of his life in Bakersfield, and worked as an automobile 
mechanic. He was a hard working man. He was family oriented and loved going to 
the beach and camping. He loved his family and spending time with his kids and 
grandkids. The past three years barbequing was his life. He barbequed at Muggs 
and was known as the BBQ King. He will be greatly missed by his family and
