Richard C. Dixon
May 1, 1927 - March 3, 2005

A Celebration of Life memorial service wil be held at the First United 
Methodist Church in Delano, Thursday, March 10, at 10:00 a.m. 

Richard was born in Delano and except for a time in the Navy he resided there. 
He was manager of the Delano Smart & Final for 39 years. He was an avid sports 
fan and an athlete in his youth. He was blessed with sixteen years of 
retirement which he enjoyed every day.

Richard is survived by his wife, Marian; daughter, Ann Gross and husband, 
Dwhayne; son, Glen Dixon and wife, Lupe; daughter, Trudy; granddaughters, 
Arianne Gross-Dean and husband, Justin; Alanna, Juliana and Gabriella Dixon; 
sister, Johanna Devlin; brother-in-law, Carl Calam and wife, LaVonne. This 
happy, loving man will be truly missed by his family and many friends.

Donations in his memory may be made to the First United Methodist Church, 1002 
11th Ave., Delano.
