Chapel services will be held Tuesday, October 26, 4:00 p.m., at Myers Funeral 
Service, 248 North E Street, in Porterville. Graveside service will be held 
Wednesday, October 27, 11:00 a.m., at Shafter Cemetery. Rickford W. Campbell 
was born June 8, 1950 in Bakersfield, CA and passed away Friday, October 22, 
in Porterville, CA. 

Rickford was a resident of Porterville since 1977 and he was a Psychiatric 
Technician for 27 years. He was a member and Chaplain of the Porterville Elks 
Lodge and served in the Marine Corps during the Vietnam war.

Rickford was the son of Glenn E. Campbell of Lake Isabella, CA. He is also 
survived by his wife, Nancy R. Campbell of Porterville, CA; daughters, 
Candance Putman of Birmingham, AL and Cheryl Kelley of Las Vegas, NV; sons, 
Eric J. Smith of Concord, CA and Robert S. Campbell of Porterville, CA; 
sisters, Sharon Robert of Monterey, CA, Diane Campbell of Lake Isabella, CA 
and foster sister, Karen Franklin of Las Vegas, CA; foster brother, Randy 
Bonfield of Guadalupe, CA and foster mother, Nita Hemmen of Grover City, CA; 
and his 12 grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his mother, Elizabeth 
Campbell in 1963 and his brother, Thomas Campbell in 1992.
