Visitation for Pedro Pete Nieto Castillo will be held at Basham Funeral Care 
(3312 Niles St.) on Sunday, August 15, 2004 from 5:00 to 9:00 p.m. The Rosary 
will be recited Sunday evening at 7:00 p.m. in the Basham Funeral Care Chapel. 
Mass of the Christian Burial will be held at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic 
Church on Monday morning, August 16, 2004, at 10:30 a.m. Interment will follow 
at Union Cemetery. 

Pete N. Castillo, Sr. was born on November 18, 1946, in Bakersfield, 
California and passed away on August 7, 2004, in Bakersfield with his family 
by his side. Pete was preceded in death by his wife and the mother of his 
children, Mary Villareal; his father, Gregorio Castillo; 2 brothers, Raymond 
and David Castillo; and 1 sister, Rachel Madrid. He is survived by his mother, 
Gregoria Castillo; son and daughter-in-law, Pete, Jr. and Marisela Castillo; 
daughters, Felicia, Marny, Tina, Lisa and Denise Castillo; sisters and 
brothers-in-law, Jesse and Aurelio Hernandez, Marty and Roy Jimenez; Viola and 
Danny Fuentez, Louisa and Alfred Sanchez; sister, Mary Moreno; 1 brother, 
Gabriel Castillo; 9 grandchildren; and numerous other family members and 
friends.

Pete was a loving and caring son, father and grandfather. He loved spending 
time with his grandchildren and working in the garden. He was loved by all 
that knew him and he will be deeply missed. For additional service information
