Interment will follow at Union Cemetery. Bina was born to Atilio and Eda Giannini near Lucca, Italy on November 26, 1920. She came to the United States at the age of 16 and settled in Buttonwillow. She met and married the love of her life, Rex, in 1949. Sadly, he was taken from her in August of 1973. Binas love of life was evident to all who came to know her. She loved to sing and dance, and was active in the Buttonwillow Chamber of Commerce, performing at many of their fundraisers. In her younger years she was an avid golfer at Buena Vista Golf Course and participated in many of the womens club events. She was also a member of the Buttonwillow Pioneer Senior Citizens, St. Marys Altar Society, the Italian Heritage Dante Association, and the Italian Catholic Federation. Her joyful and fun-loving spirit will be greatly missed. Bina is survived by her sons, Mark and wife, Lynda Ballengee, Keith and wife, Barbie Ballengee; and daughters, Sharon and husband, Ted Page and Desiree Ballengee. Nonni will be greatly missed by her grandchildren, Mark Ballengee, Shannon and Jason Rice, Beth and Mark Bean, Leigh Page, Nicklaus Ballengee and Heidi Ballengee. She is also survived by her special sister-in- law, Isabel Giannini. A special thanks to Regina Houchin and Rebeca Lopez for their love and support. Donations may be made to the American Cancer Society, or the charity of choice.
