Alice is preceded in death by her parents, Ysidro and Isabel Castro; brother, Jesse Castro; sister, Lydia Carson and brother, John Castro. She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, David and Joyce Lynn Lee; daughter and son-in-law, Shirley Munoz and Larry Vogel; daughter and son-in-law, Peggy and Rudy Galicia Jr.; son and daughter-in-law, Michael and Martina Valdez; brother and sister-in-law, Leo and Della Castro; sister and brother-in-law, Til and Freddie Castillo; sister-in-law, Susie Castro; former husband, Billy Ray Lee; grandchildren, David and wife Michelle, Steven, Carrie, Darnell and husband Mitch, Alice, Chris and wife Lisa, Keith and wife Sandra, Chad, Jacklynn and Philip; 17 great-grandchildren as well as numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives. Alice was born November 29, 1926 in Floresville, Texas and she passed away Friday July 15, 2005 in Bakersfield, California. Alice was just like the energizer bunny, full of energy. She loved taking care of her loved ones but she also was not afraid to use firm language. She was very dependable and she had a very sharp memory and she was strong willed. She was known for her famous tamale pie and potato salad. She was loved by all that knew her and she'll be deeply missed. Pallbearers will be Chris Munoz, Keith Galicia, Chad Galicia, Philip Valdez, Steven Lee and Kenneth Lee.
