Bunn Sr. Services: Fri., Aug. 26, 1:00 p.m. There will be a memorial viewing at the Chapel of the Roses in Atascadero on Friday, August 26th from 9-11 a.m., with a graveside service at 1:00 p.m., at the Cayucos Morro Bay Cemetery followed by a reception. Gary was born in Bakersfield on June 30, 1944, where he was raised until he moved to the Central Coast to attend Cal Poly State University. After college he settled his family in Cayucos/Harmony where he raised cattle and hogs as well as did some farming. Gary was an active member in his community. He volunteered his time to 4-H with his own sons and other local children as well. He was a member of the Native Sons of the Golden West. Gary enjoyed bass fishing, hunting, spending time with friend and family and working on the ranch with his sons. Along with farming and ranching Gary worked for Farm Supply where he took pleasure in visiting, seeing and working with his friends. Gary is survived by his adored family, sons, Gary Jr. and Leslie, Marcus and Kim; their mother, Helen Bunn Hallett; grandchildren, Clayton and Paisley and the Costa Family in Bakersfield along with many other family and friends.
