In Loving Memory 
Edna Jean Bowen 
October 26, 1928 - February 3, 2005 

Mom, we've gone through all the firsts since you passed away: birthdays, 
Easter (the butterflies were awesome on that Sunday), Thanksgiving, and 
Christmas. Oh how much we miss you. Draven wanted to know where you were. I 
told him you were in Heaven, he stated, Great-grandma really loved me didnt 
she. You always said that you were proud of us kids, Im proud to say that you 
are my mom and there isnt a day that doesnt go by that I dont think of you. 
One particular day a couple of months ago, I was really sad and depressed. I 
was outside and talking out loud to you when I saw a butterfly and I said Is 
that you mom? The butterfly flew across the street to me and came within two 
feet of me eye to eye. It hovered there for a few seconds and I felt like it 
was you answering me that you are always with me. I know that you are gone 
physically, but here with me spiritually. While we did the role reversal of me 
taking care of you, you gave me the name of baby momma and you were momma 
baby. I will always be your baby momma. I truly enjoyed being your caregiver 
as well as Sid. We Love You And Miss You, Your daughter and son-in-law, Brenda 
& Sid
