This page contains information that will assist volunteers in building a county website. Please refer to our Polices & Procedures page before creating a new website. The CAGenWeb Project has a few policies and procedures for our county websites, as referenced above. For the most part, though, you may design your website layout in any way that you choose. We do ask that you keep in mind that people may view your site on a variety of digital devices. When designing a county or special project website, volunteers are encouraged to be mindful of individuals with certain disabilities that might prevent them from seeing certain color combinations or of processing websites adequately that are heavily laden with images. The State Coordinator has the discretion to require certain changes if any website design if the website is determined to be inaccessible to individuals with certain disabilities. Section I: Logos Approved USGenWeb logos are on below.. You will find 5 small versions of CAGenWeb logos below. When designing your website, you may wish to use a larger version of the logo you want. This way, it can be resized to your specifications. Other than resizing, none of these logos may be altered. The larger versions of the logos are on this page. These logos are intended for use only on websites that are affiliated specifically with The CAGenWeb Project. Logos may be resized, but not altered in any other way.
