Criminal cases against JOST, Antioch Distillery, and CUSHING & LOUDERBACK, Bay View Distillery dismissed. Civil cases still pending.

Miles H. ROBINSON, white, trundled John GALE, colored, in a wheelbarrow in payment of a bet as to who would be inaugurated President. Also, P. BUCKLEY, harnessed between the shafts of a sulky, drew Samuel HOLMES about the streets.

Monday of last week, the wife of Thomas W. INGRAM died. She was sick for eight hours then gave birth to a healthy daughter, then a stillborn daughter, another daughter, then a fourth child which resulted in the mother’s death. INGRAM is left with the two newborns and twelve other children to raise.

 A daughter was born in Martinez to the wife of C. Ed. MILLER on February 25, 1877.
