Herb Good devoted extensive time and effort to documenting the cemeteries in Calaveras county. He personally collected the original burial data, photographed the headstones, and created the cemetery listings and hand‑built cemetery maps. His work preserved information that would otherwise have been lost, and recovering it from the archive required reconstructing pages, restoring links, and reformatting the surviving data for modern use.
