Mary made the trip from Missouri with her father Augustus P. MC CARTY in about 1853. Joseph and Mary, married on 3 November 1868, lived in Lake County till the early 1880's when they moved to San Angelo, Tom Green Co, TX. I have the birth/death dates of BELVA ALICE EDE April 13, 1915 -July 13, 1915. She was the infant daughter of EDGAR FRANCIS and ALICE (WESTFALL) EDE. I have a state record that says that she died in Lake County (the dates and name matches the family information), but no members of the family remember EDGAR and ALICE living in Lake County. It is even believed that BELVA ALICE EDE is buried in Kingsburg, California...the same place the family says she died and was born. I am trying to clear up this mystery, but do not know where to find out this information.

My 2nd ggf was a Henry L.Pierson, b. 3 Nov 1831 LA?, d. 7 May 1878 in Lower Lake, and reported to be buried in the Lower Lake Cemetery. I would suspect that his wife, Mary A.C. Pierson (b. 6 Feb 1836; d. 19 Sep 1877),is buried with him. Does anyone have records for this cemetery that would confirm their burials there, as well as others having Pierson surname? Also, need their parents.
