The Seigler School District was formed in 1888. The school was located just above Seigler Springs Resort and north of the Seigler Springs-Loch Lomond road. When the student population dwindled, the school lapsed in 1900.
In 1904 the district was reestablished and at that time the school was in a little building just west of the summit of Highway 29, south of Loch Lomond and opposite the present Catholic Church. Around 1908-1909, Miss Dorothy Flinn was the teacher. Again, for lack of students, the school closed and the district was suspended in 1920. Both school buildings are gone.
