This indenture made and entered into this 28th day of September one thousand and eight hundred and fifteen between Josiah WILSON of Mercer County and State of Kentucky of the one part and Thos PETIT of Washington County and state aforesaid of the other. Witnesseth that for and in consideration of six hundred dollars paid in hand the aforesaid Josiah WILSON does by these presents sell and convey unto the aforesaid Thos PETIT one hundred acres of land lying in Washington County on the waters of the Beech fork it being a part of Josiah WILSON ___ five hundred acre ___y  and Bounded as foloweth to wit Beginning at a sugar tree standing in John HARDIN’s line and being a ____ to ___  ___ thence North 30° West 179 poles to two white oaks ____ from the same root thence South __ West 276 to a white oak and dogwood standing in ____ line thence South 55° E 179 poles to the Beginning To have and to hold the aforesaid premises containing an hundred acres by general Warranty defend from every claim or claims to ___ PETITs own proper use and benefit given under our hands and seals.

This indenture made and entered into this seventh day of November in the year of our Lord one thousand Eight hundred and twenty seven between John H. WILSON of the County of Washington and State of Kentucky of the one part and Thomas PETTIT of the County and State aforesaid of the other part Witnesseth that for and in consideration of the sum of four hundred dollars in hand paid to the said John H. WILSON doth sell and convey unto Thomas PETTIT the following tract or parcel of land to wit lying in Washington County and State of Kentucky on the waters of Pleasant Run and bounded as follows ____(corner of page too dark to read)___

 This indenture made and entered into this ___ day of June 1834 between William PETTIT and Ann PETTIT his wife of the first part and George CAMPBELL and Sally GUINN his mother of the other part and all of the County of Washington and the state of Kentucky……  William PETTIT and Ann his wife for and in consideration of the sum of fifty dollars… in hand the receipt of which is hereby acknowledged… given, granted, bargained… and sold and by…. to Bargain and sell unto the said George CAMPBELL and Sally O GUINN a certain… and being on the… of the Beech… and Bounded… Beginning… a River and the South side at the main Road… fence South….

Page is almost completely black. All I could discern from the page was something about the heirs of Thomas PETTIT to John KENDRICK. Due to the location in the book, the date was probably in early 1834.
 

Sarah (Pettit/Campbell) Guinn, Legal Heir of Thomas Petit and Mary Ann Kendrick

Deed Book O, page 246-247, Washington Co., Kentucky, LDS film 551253

This indenture made and entered into this 15th day of July in the year 1841 between Sarah GUINN one of the Legal heirs and Representatives of Thomas PETIT Ded of the County of Washington and State of Kentucky of the first part and Mary Ann KENDERICK of the same County and State aforesaid of the second part Witnesseth that the Said Sarah GUINN for and in consideration of the Sum of Ten dollars per acres to her in hand paid the Receipt whereof is hereby Acknowledged hath given granted bargained and Sold and by these presents doth give grant bargain and Sell to the Said Mary Ann KENDERICK on South part of a certain Tract of Land Lying in the County of aforesaid Containing one hundred acres known and described in the Deed from Josiah WILSON Samuel WILSON Jonathan WILSON and Polly C WILSON to Thomas PETIT which is of Record in the Clerks office of the Washington County Court and is here referred to for boundary __ with the Reservation of thirty one acres 81 Roods(?) deeded by said Thomas PETIT to John KENDERICK which is also of Record in the Clerks office of the Washington County Court to have and to hold the one Sixth part of said Tract of Land to her the Said Mary Ann KENDERICK and her heirs and assigns forever with all and Singular the appurtenances Rights privileges there unto belonging or in anywise appertaining and the said Sarah GUINN doth bind herself to warrant the Title to the Said one Sixth part of Said Tract of Sixty nine acres as Reserved of afsd Land to her the Said Mary Ann KENDERICK her heirs and assigns forever against the Claim or Claims of all and every person or persons whatever In Testimony whereof I the Said Sarah GUINN have hereunto Set my hand and Seal the day and date above written.

I, William B. BOOKER Clerk of the County Court for the County aforementioned do certify that on the day of the date herself this Deed from Sarah GWIN to Mary Ann KENDERICK was produced to me in my office and acknowledged by the said Sary GWIN to be her act and Deed and there upon the same is duly admitted to Record in Deed Book O page 246 Given under my hand this 15th day of July 1841.
